I liked spike’s follow up title to ‘hitler, my part in his downfall”, it was called, “Mussolini, his part in my downfall”.
I think Smith should start on saturday, he seems the only one who finds himself in positions to actually score a goal. Perhaps though, he could swap his Toblerone boots for ‘Billy’s boots’. |

As long as we don’t ruin our goal difference, and assuming both Wednesday and Huddersfield lose one of their last three games, if we get one more point they had would have to win both their other two games to overtake us. |

Don’t know about big, but between 1970 and 1995 when we went down and started our long decline, and they were about to get their Matthew Harding investment, we finished above Chelsea 14 times in 24 seasons. [Post edited 10 Apr 15:06]

I like Marti, comes across really well. Treats those two imposters (triumph and disaster) just the same, doesn’t get too down after a defeat, or too carried away after a win.
Given what he’s got to work with, I think he’s done a far better job than any of us could ever of hoped for. |

Can we even call them strikers if they don’t ’strike”?
I have some sympathy for them as invariably they’re playing on their own against two centre half’s, and they’re feeding off scraps.
Even so, they’re just not contributing anything. Can’t keep relying on midfielders and defenders to get your goals.
Number one priority for next season. |
