I said we would see a reaction today after last week’s defeat. That was some performance, over and won in the first 15 minutes.
Soaking wet and cold, but who cares!

Without a doubt, player of the season so far and probably in the championship team of the season as it stands?
Such a top bloke who loves the club, deserves the praise! Stephan deserves a lot of credit also for his decision in moving Smyth that little nearer to the striker.

Great performance from him again today think Smyth and Kone pipped him today |

Just back home, soaked through today, but don’t care, after that performance. Absolutely immense performance today front to back. Kone, Smyth, Poku, Kamara, Jimmy, Ronnie, Boy, Charles and Let’s not forget Adamson, I felt trepidation when he first came in this season, such an improvement and likely to get better. Also got to Mention Smythy, he’s one of the most dangerous wide players in the league, his decision making is looking a lot better, Kone’s opener. And Finally King Richard, that’s what he can do for us! He’s had a lot of detractors of late and proved them all wrong in a big way today, against the best defense in the league! Good to see JV, Dembele and Koki back today. Also
Spoke to Burrell prior to kick off, hopes to be back in two weeks!
Looks like Stephan and his team are beginning to get us playing some very good football, a lot to like about us!

My wife said he’s had to blow the cobwebs off 😂 great touch that’s probably lost on 50% of people there today!

I think we will see a reaction to last week’s game. We do have injuries, but I think the togetherness and mentality of the team, will want to get a win, 2-1 for us, Smyth and Kane? |

We’ve been quite poor today, but the changes were too late and for me not effective enough.Think Vale should have come off for Madsen at halftime and Kolli is not an out and out 9!
Disappointing performance from the team and gaffer, well beaten |

Burnley should have been at least 2 up before Wolves got into the game. Wolves playing such a high line with fullbacks pushing on, they look easy to get behind. As for Burnley, their keeper and defenders look awful and if they are relying on Vardey and Broja to score the goals needed for promotion, I think they will be lacking.

Long may your run continue Fred!
Tough game for us, however, Brum have struggled at home. The way we’re playing I think we can nick this one 2-1, Smyth and Kolli.

Great player for us and showing the kind of form that he showed at Leeds. Very calm on the ball, breaks up play well and can move forward with the ball, helping us forward, seems 5o cover the ground effortlessly.
Not 100% sure, but I thought it was a year loan with an option to buy?
Although clearly no resale value he’s such a calming influence on the team, it would be worthwhile, if the numbers work.

He’s destined to be a Top Top Keeper, has it all. Like many I was a little worried after the Millwall game, and thought teams would target him with crosses. Such a confident player and like having an extra outfield player at times.
Hopefully City getting relegated to the national league and have a fire sale. 🤞🏻
In the meantime Let’s Enjoy him while he’s ours

He really has stepped up over the last few games and making a big difference for us. I’m sure we’ve all had frustration with him over the last few years, as we’ve all seen the ability he has.
The way we’re playing really seems too get the best out of him, long may it continue.
A strong candidate for player of the month

Agreed, we should have beaten Bolton and Charlton, played better in both of those games. But getting the result yesterday not playing as well as we have, is a huge positive. And let’s not forget the players missing, arguably starters when fit. |

Lots of positives to take from the team performance! 20 minutes with 10 men distorted the stats a little, but overall we never really got out of 3rd gear. Really unfortunate injury to Mbengue, hopefully not as serious as it looks?
Even JV looked to move forward when he was in possession 👏🏻 lots to like about us at the moment, and considering the players out, we are battling and maintaining a bit of consistency, |

Great result, albeit against a poor Derby side. Smythy MoM for me, but lots of good performances, Ronnie, Kamara, Boy, Adamson. Pleased for Alfie and thought Kolli was a tad unlucky not to score. Lots to like about what we’re seeing, only negative was Mbengue, didn’t look good, Jimmy was clearly worried as he sprinted across to get the medical pack! ( seemed like the stretcher took ages to get on?)
On to Brum on Saturday, hopefully a good performance!
Great work Fred, long may it continue!

Well done Fred, a brave move picking up this one.
Tough one to call and with injuries and suspensions we could be light in the middle and up top?
I’d take a draw, although I think they will be to good for us, heart says 1-1, head says, 2-1 to them!
Awful bloody stadium to watch football, said never again after last season. Good luck to all you guys going tonight, I’m sure you’ll make plenty of noise!

Never a Red, Cirkin clearly gets the ball and the player comes in late on him, don’t think Cirkin was out of control or showing studs. Unbelievable decision, Ref was definitely intimidated by the Preston players in his face! |

Thought he did okay when he came on today, got in some good positions and certainly gave them something to think about!
He’s still young and learning, let’s give him a little time before we write him off? He’s certainly not lacking in desire and work rate!

A great comeback to get a point, 2 down with 10 men, we should celebrate that!
I do think it’s 2 points dropped, but that’s not a reason to not enjoy something we don’t see that often! Great team spirit and never gave up! |
