Queens Park Rangers v Millwall Your Report added at 22:19:15
"One of those nights" under the lights at Loftus Road. Absolutely brilliant. Such a shame we weren't there to raise the roof when the third went in. MOTM? My head says this was looking 0-3 to Millwall all the way until a superb glancing header from That Man just changed the whole momentum of the game. But my heart says that Lyndon Dykes left blood, guts, sweat and everything else out there all night. Give it to him, Clive!

End of season stuff, and it's not even the end of February... with the schedule as it is there could be a few more of those. They all put in a shift in pretty testing conditions. Dykes needs to get on the training ground with a banjo and a rear-facing bovine. Captain of Glasgow Rangers has had some decent games recently.

Sometimes a player's effect can't be measured by the usual stats. Or perhaps it can. 4 wins out of 5, for a team that couldn't find a win if they fell over it in the street. Austin has galvanised this side - they now think they can win, even away on a cold Monday night or at home when hanging on and on and not letting ANYTHING past. I'm going to call it the Austin effect. (The near sending off being part of it - letting both sides know they're in a battle. YES!!)

Not sure if we have any family silver left at Loftus Road, but whatever it is, trophies (plural?), chest medallion from Flavio, Tony's cufflinks, just sell it and keep Charlie.

Think people are being a bit harsh on Faurlin who was trying to be a one-man midfield, outnumbered and overrun. Jenas as usual looking for a space where he will be unlikely to bump into an opposition player. Diakete, well what can you say, did he send his twin brother in his place (the one who can't play football). Out of position but embarassing. At least SWP could see what was happening and moved in to help. But one goal in 2 years for "Sooper" and at this rate another two years to wait - dreadful attempt when through. Neither Austin or Johnson added to their reputation, shots and headers all high wide and not so handsome. But no midfield at all, must have been introduced to each other before the game. Harry's post match regret very amusing. Leeds on Saturday obviously No1, 2 and 3 priority.

When I saw those QPR on the p**s reports I remembered the way the genius duo of Clough+Taylor won their first trophy. For those too young to remember, they opened the bottles the night before. If the Rs follow this up with a win on Saturday, I'll book return tickets for the team to Dubai myself. Keep the faith. It's game on.
