Keeper for next year
at 10:42 11 Apr 2024

So Begovic is out of contract and has been.. let's say rusty to be polite, and I very much doubt he will be back next year.

So my question is, do we go with Walsh or are we bringing someone in? If so, does anyone have any suggestions who we should be after who is affordable and good enough?

So frustrating.

As long as it ends the right way... can't see Huddersfield overtaking us now, but it's still a nail biting excruciating season...

Although Field hit the net, did Dykes get it across the line first? He was claiming it and pointing at the linesman...

Jude The Cat: GONE?
at 07:49 4 Apr 2024

For about the first time ever, I've got some ITK info on the person who caused this. I won't name the person, as poor Clive has enough in his plate, bit it is allegedly the same person who was responsible for the previous Jude leaving and they are known as a bully.

Championship Predictor - final table
at 21:45 1 Apr 2024

6 weeks or so ago, the teams at the bottom were all picking up points (except Rothersm), whilst Millwall and Plymouth stopped. Many of us thought 51 or 52, even 53 points would be needed.

Thankfully, we are the only team that have continued to pick up points whilst Sheffield w, Huddersfield (and Rotherham) just stopped, and Plymouth just continued not picking up points.

Thinking 49 would be enough now maybe even 47 or 48...

A positive team that cares
at 16:41 31 Mar 2024

Look at these two clips... dont tell me the whole team, even those that didn't or weren't playing don't care... they do. That wasn't the case under GA... marti deserves a lot if credit for this IMO

VAR. No thanks.
at 13:56 31 Mar 2024

This.

VaR should have no more than 30 seconds to check something. Wasn't there a 6 minute VAR check the other day? Ridiculous.

Good idea, run by FIFA, ruined by FIFA

Don't mind those. Netter than the current things. However the worst thing about the current things is the numbers and writing font in the back. And this doesn't show those.

Agree the star should be a contrast colour so you can actually see them.

Major FFP Reforms coming
at 20:17 14 Mar 2024

A sig if can't part of the issue is the distribution of the money when it comes es in... the palywrs. Player wages are absolutely obscene. Look I get that a football career is short but £100k a week? And that's the bang average players in the premiership

And why? The big clubs drive up the wages becuase other big clubs are scared that other teams may nick their players? But it filters down into the lower leagues.

There should be a maximum wage IMO. Or wages should be 50% of the average income of the whole league or a salary cap.like in The NFL.. plenty of examples better than the unfettered bollocks we have now.

Pubs in Ealing
at 20:11 13 Mar 2024

I wouldn't describe the North Star as rough... but the Wheatsheaf on Haven Lane is a small but nice pub, decent food too. About 5 mins walk north of the station. Plus if you dont like it the Haven Arms is 2 doors down.
