Well for me, the worrying thing is the team that was selected to start was in my opinion about the best we had available and many on here would have been happy with it, I was but it failed on so many levels.
Speed of thought, movement off the ball, decision making, passing of the ball, creating space for a return pass, none of these things happened and if this is the best we have, we may not be in trouble relegation wise but we look a long long way from a top 6 finish. |

Lots of opinions as usual about what went wrong and who's fault it was but I have to be honest, when I saw the team Julian picked for the game there was no doubt in my mind it couldn't win, very disjointed and unbalanced.
If your going to play the young Brazilian at left back he should have played Smyth in front of him as many on this board recognise as being our best wing defender.
Slow with the substitutions again.
If the board bought this manager in because they thought he could handle 3 game weeks, it's not working. |

I think a lot depends on the next 3 matches, if we can gain a maximum 9 points that should ensure we are in the top 6 at the end of the first January week.
If they still have money available the board might decide to make a fist of it and sign additional players in the hope we can make the play offs.
The recruitment this season has been good overall, much better than in years gone bye and the club are sure to be following targets for January and in the Summer.
So it might be that the next 3 games will define our season.
Without additions to the squad I think we should finish between 65-75 points.

Am I the only one on here that wouldn't want to see Seny Dieng back here in January.
I understand we need an upgrade on our goalkeepers but I think Senys time is done here. |
