What is guaranteed is that he will win a penalty against us for shirt pulling at a corner. I liked posh Matt but can't wish him well playing for those racist Neanderthals.

Cooper seemed to be using being pissed as mitigating circumstance. What's that all about? He got off lightly . After this and St Andrews incident ( even if it was Grealish he hit) they need to clamp down on this before it becomes a trend . Not to mention the WHU lunatic with the corner flag .

Love those posts Clive . Agree with every word. Seeing Leeds self combust is a great joy / schadenfreude Fugk em and everything about them . Lots to dislike about FLDC ( not least the FL part) but Villa are a league above in terms of reasons to hate them (BRJ clearly #1 by a distance but that whingebag Smith is another) . And am I alone in feeling Keogh deserves his moment of glory? He takes a lot of stick but seems a decent bloke and he needs to exorcise the OBZ moment.

Yes I played in Game 1 . Had Langley and Rowly in my team . Fereday and Big Danny for the "oppo " Still nursing the bruises from a 50/50 with Danny ( if there is such a thing) and getting flattened. I've never run into a brick wall before. Not in a hurry to do it again !

Penalties today

I don't like to contemplate that refs might be corrupt , but having witnessed Andy Davies at Reading and yesterday you have to wonder. Yes , Reading dived all over the place and at the time we thought " well done ref for not giving way under pressure " But after seeing those pens yesterday I have serious doubts about his integrity. The 2nd one could be a mistake as Manning looked like he might have caught his leg like Scowen v Blackburn ( even though it was obvious from 100 yds away that thre was clear daylight between them ) But the first one was a pure work of fiction. Not even the player allegedly fouled made even a token appeal , nor did The Weds fans . The worst of many shockers this season but the only time I've thought it was bent.

Francis , I'm with you all the way . Rangers are in my DNA too so I'd be going even if we were in the Ryman league. BRJ is Clive 's shorthand for Terry and it would take something drastic like that happening to stop me going. But if that happened the ground would be empty. Bad enough having Barton once so hope he never darkens our door again. I can't imagine I'd ever stop going because we were 5hit or the football was bad otherwise I'd have given up decades ago 😀

Seems like the answer lies in whether you go to Rangers out of blind faith,as I and many other s do, or people want some kind of "value " from their ticket, be that winning, stylish football ( whatever that is ) or just committed players . Obviously everyone would WANT those things but not having them isn't enough to stop me renewing. I do find it's easier to fall out of love with football in general these days with all the diving , feigning injury, time wasting, gullible referees, VAR to create drama for armchair fans , minimal 'contact ' for penalties as if contact is a sin, etc etc , but I can't ever see me falling out of love with Rangers . If it's in your blood I can't see how you'd make a conscious decision to not go , assuming you are lucky enough to be able to afford it . Even if you went away for nice weekend trips instead of going to football, you'd still be twitching every Saturday waiting for the scores ? I might change my mind if we ever had pondlife like Barton or heaven forbid BRJ on the payroll. Heaven would hopefully freeze over first !

On a par with Vinnie Jones as a disgrace to the shirt . And if this was an assault he should get banned for years. Some muppet sitting behind me at the Etihad on "that day " actually applauded him off when he was sent off . Fans like that should go to scumford bridge . And to think some would have him back as manager. Scarcely believable.

Can't stand the scousers , plus Citeh have 2 ex-Rs inWalker and Sterling. A draw would screw both of them plus a neat hamstring twinge for Hazard to keep him out for a few games til he goes to Madrid. This is last chance for Liverpool to drop points as their run-in is piss easy after this. So a draw would do nicely

Remember this game for some wit and repartee from one of the knuckle scrapers. At one point I heard hissing noises and a shout of " how did you c*nts escape the gas chambers " . Penny dropped it was aimed at me and my Dad who are not Jewish but look a bit so . One of the many and varied reasons to despise that Filth . And don't get me started on the time one of them kicked my 5' girlfriend. Brave lad . Had him nicked though and went to Court . Guilty as charged. Scum and always will be . And apparently they now have a zero tolerance of racism. Pity they didn't when BRJ was running the club .

YES without fail . In fact just got an Indian takeaway in Gerrards Cross and there were 2 blokes in the waiting area talking abut Rs . Just HAD to chime in ! Lots of Rs in south Bucks . Best thing is running and getting URs shouts , especially if on enemy territory !

Their manager is called Warne ...... We are paying the price for playing the same players game after game . Ollie tinkered too much , Mac too little. Freeman looks tired which he is entitled to be as he plays full throttle every game

Enfield you are right-we did score from the corner. Can't remember who scored though. Stan licked his finger and held it up to test the wind direction. What a man !

Accrington are at Wycombe the Tuesday before we play Rotherham. Good chance to see him and Gaz's boys who always have a fair sprinkling of ex Rs . Nice friendly place to go to watch football .

It was St Clement Danes then ( before we merged with Burlington and got distracted by girls) . Wally was a couple of years below me . He didn't go into 6th form - became Wimbledon's first ever apprentice I think . Definitely a Ranger though . Shame he's drawn the Millwall scum in next round.

There was another option for Scowen which I don't think has been suggested: he could have played the ball before it was outside the box . Until they wake up and change the laws , there's no penalty for doing that. Agree about Cousins ~ becoming the new Karl Henry or Gavin Mahon . Can you imagine the reaction if he ballsed up rather than Scowen?

Agreed loftboy and I'm not doubting his ability to make many teams more than the sum of its parts ( inc ours ) but I find his antics very tedious. Always whingeing about something when he doesn't get his own way . And disgraceful disrespect towards Andy Madley a couple of weeks ago . Sorry, I just don't like the man even though he took us up .
