In a strange way, this could be good news for them. Basically, they’re getting the whole bin fire completely out of the way in one season so that they can start afresh on an even keel in League One next season and go again.
It contrasts to the Luton situation a few years back when they had multiple points deductions over 2 or 3 seasons (?) which meant 3 relegations.
I wouldn’t mind betting that, if they could, Wednesday won’t be appealing this. Especially because (obvs.) they get 3pts back automatically on Jan 4th.... [Post edited 1 Dec 14:57]

No chance. 0-3 to Aus at least.
As ever, nothing much wrong with our English outcricket (bowling and fielding) - we can, and do, always challenge the Aussies in these areas. IMHO it's all about our (ahem) Work with the Willow. Basically, we don't do it and in Australia you really need to do it - for 90+overs in the FIRST innings of Test Matches regularly.
To papaphrase Martin Johnson (nearly 30yrs ago!) - there's only 3 things wrong with this English team - they can't bat, they can't bat and they can't bat.
And that is that. |

A three-game week, with a 1-1 draw against Millwall, a 1-1 draw at Swansea and a 1-1 draw today. That is effectively what has happened. I'm frustrated tonight, but I would have taken that last Sat morning. |

Agree about Preston, disagree about Wednesday. A point on the road nearly always a point gained in any circumstances (apart obvs. from Bramall Lane in 76....).
The home draw with Oxford - that's the definition of two points dropped. |
