I found that almost unwatchable . Showing replays whilst the game is in progress , at one point 45th min the Wigan forward broke through on goal & they cut to the 4th official . Then there is the obsession with showing the managers or subs warming up , the best thing about being there is you can watch what is going on in the game , precious little of that in this coverage !
The replay will be no walk in the park , post here if you are attending . Would love to see not only a big crowd but all of us that can go generating the kind of atmosphere that we will looking back on in years to come , ie oldham play off game . Newcastle 5-5 etc etc. No less than white hot acceptable , after the grief they were giving furlong 1st half .
Anybody know the actual kick off time for forest away .it is coming up as 19.45 on the away ticket info but as 3pm on the fixtures & event info page . My train tickets are stuffed if its 1945 as their is no train back to Thetford after 835pm & im booked on that one .
Big cup game this weekend for the shrews home to Hammers live on BBC on sunday ! Just chatting to Addinall about our trip there , in summary big Bobby Hazell got sent off Rangers ended up losing 3-0 to a rampant Town side at a packed gay meadow .We sat in the main stand but there was around 1500-2000 Rangers packed into one end , a major punch up flared up between 2 gentlemen who were old enough to know better i can still remember one single policeman coming in and breaking it up . Gate was over 9000 & the match programme was a newspaper which seemed odd , anyone else at this fixture with any memories to share ?
Pretty good evening all round . Good team play and kept their shape reasonably well over the 95 + minutes . Barnsley came and had a go so credit to them , they have done well despite selling their top players .Crowd though light on numbers kept behind the team throughout .Liked the look of freeman gets the ball under control quickly & moves forwards rapidly / skillfully. A very pleasing win & it looks like we have the makings of a decent team .
Starting this now , riding the wave of optimism following yesterdays game . We had already bought train tickets for the original date from Norwich to cardiff so we lost out there but prior to yesterdays game in an act of loyalty/stupidity bought 2 match tickets & will now do the 9/10 hour return slog from Norfolk by car next sunday...... so who is with us ?
Just hoping that some of you in the know guys may know if it is now ok to book trains , hotels etc for the Preston away game ? I would hope that with both teams in mid table they would leave this game well alone .
This has quietly changed from "tickets on the gate on the day of the game " to being " an all ticket fixture with no tickets on the day " , so it's buy in advance and then pick up at the ground on boxing day for anyone pondering this fixture .
Not expecting much enthusiasm for this post but we can enjoy somerset and the chance to watch our cup exit from terraces for once so i for one am looking forward to it . If anyone can offer me a lift back to yeovil town centre after the game it would be greatly appreciated , cheers !
The club have this on the front page of their website & it states tickets on sale to members with 300 points , well actually they went on general sale a couple of weeks ago . So anyone mad enough to go , including self any R,s fan can buy one & can even pay on the day thus saving the £3.50 rip off .
Has sold out with nearly 3 weeks to go before the game having sold 1900 odd. The club could have asked for 3000 & when the first tickets went on sale it stated 'initial allocation ' of 1800 odd , they went , then 127 restricted view which are now gone the demand is obviously there. So the fans support is not that important to the club then ?
