 | Forum Reply | This year's out of the blue signing - Tariq Lamptey at 10:41 22 Jul 2026
Nail on head! I hope for all our sakes he turns out to be a good signing. However, nothing has changed (from what we are allowed to know) from the medical department and that worrys me buying these types of players. Even more concerning is do you think Lamptey has done his homework on having the best medical staff around him for his rehabilitation? Our track record is abysmal at best. Things need to change for us to have any kind of team on the field. The best piece of business we could do is get the right medical staff in the door. |

I for one am happy to have the Goalkeeper situation sorted early with 2 (on paper) competent keepers. I can't help but wonder though how the club are going to manage 2 keepers who were absolute regulars for their clubs last season and don't expect to be a number 2 any time soon. Are they expecting Charles to get injured so Ward gets a look in? Anyway, happy enough. Centre Mid next please! |

The Dutch "Jake Bidwell"........ Which necessarily isn't a bad thing. Welcome Boy..... And WHAT A BOY! |

I truly miss the days of when football was just a ball being kicked around a football pitch and that was all that mattered. It used to be fun! |

I want CN to squirm till he breaks his guard. More uncomfortable he is the better as he'll either jump or finally realise that running a football club is an extremely unique job and a privileged one at that. I just hope his code can be rewritten into a more fan orientated outlook and think of us as more equal than not. It's the hope that kills you! Here's hoping! |

This this this this!!!!!! It's exactly how I feel. QPR need to do better on a human level. I personally think he's been treated so bad by QPR. I'm amazed Nardi did an exit interview. I'm sure he loves the fans but I'm sure he's doesn't care too much about the people running the club. CN needs to better his people skills. |

We are going to get absolutely butt-fu$&%d. Ipswich will be having a party even before the 5min mark. We will also conceded just before half time and just after half time with the final score being 5-1. Kone to get a consolation. Adamson vs whomever Ipswich 10 mill + winger they decide to throw in the mix. Field day, speaking of Field....... We could do with him back eh? |

I'm with you on this, especially the last sentence. CN will have egg on his face if he gets rid. JS was his man and was paraded around so. |

We will always have that assist for Andre Gray against Cardiff and that thunderblaster against Boro, to remember! 😂 |
 | Forum Reply | Julian Stepháne…stick or twist at 10:54 24 Apr 2026
Surely if he goes this puts egg on CN face. JS was CN's guy. The meticulous interview process, a yes man, all the things CN wanted and paraded to us like the 2nd coming of Christ-ian! How is CN going to justify getting rid unless JS walks? Bloody basket case! Sick to the teeth with it! |

I'm really annoyed how bad we've treated Nardi. Like cast aside like a rotten piece of meat. QPR need to do better on a human level. As for Walsh. I really want him to do well but I think hes playing a level higher than his ceiling already is and is another Lumley in the making. |

Ahhhh mate. Thanks for sharing this. A lot rings true in what you've said. Max never barked (less than 10 times I ever heard and it was a big bark if he ever did) he didn't jump, didn't run off, didn't dig and chewed only the toys he knew were his. He did however like to recycle his own waste from time to time..... And boy did he love his food. I'd find him under my feet most of the time I was cooking in the kitchen. He was the definition of Stoic. Took everything in his stride and was such a peaceful boy. Like I said an extension of me. Like you said Wombat, he followed me everywhere just so he could spent as much time with me as possible and I loved him for that. I know I was his everything and he was for me also. He witnessed me and my partner bring 2 kids into our family and he was the best at letting them climb all over him and playing the big brother role. His favourite place was the beach and when we get his ashes back they will be scattered over his favourite beach spot. And you are absolutely spot on about the silence aspect. It's so weird and sad when you hear and feel it. Words can't describe how I feel. It's as low as loosing a human family member for the role he played within it. He was my boy, my best friend. 💔 |

How poignant a thread like this appears 2 days after I lost my Kindred Spirit. Max my black lab of 13 years. All I can say right now in the still immense pain that I'm feeling is that I was so lucky to of been blessed by his presence. He ended up being an extension of me and I was so lucky to of lived alongside him. Apologies to digress a little but a pet has the potential to be much more than the sum of their parts and in Max an I got more than everything I could of hoped for! 🖤💔 |

It's massively celebrated here in New Zealand. To the point our company pay for us for the day to go drinking. It's even bigger than Christmas to some. St George's day isn't no where near as big. |
 | Forum Thread | We are not as good, nor as bad! at 22:23 21 Feb 2026
As we think we are as a club this season. And do you know what! That's alright in my book. That's hopefully an improvement from the last couple of years. We've obviously spent a lot for what only maybe a marginal gain from last season but it looks brighter than it has been for a long time. No imploding please QPR! |

If Sinton ever steps down as club ambassador Ale should be his replacement. Wonderful human. |
