I think the atmosphere is going to be like old times, buzzing. I’m at Lords for County Cricket Middlesex Yorkshire, Will head to Loftus Road at Tea. Trying to avoid all the FA Cup train traffic. |

The Kookaburra is being used twice more, end of aug and sept.
fine using it on hard summer wickets but using it on wickets that have been covered all winter has made it a batters paradise.
Middx look really balanced now. Du Ploy can bowl spin to help out De Cairns and also we signed Brookes from Warks who can bowl quick.
I see John Simpson got a double ton too for Sussex, some crazy scores.
I went to day 2 in Northants (Saturday) and from the members stand, I counted around 100 people in the public stands, really thought more people would be there on a sunny Saturday.
Middx vs Yorks this friday should be a doozy! Brook and Root both should play at HQ, anyone else from here going?

aha ok.... I was surprised how reasonably priced they were on twickets, recently they have been quite high, I guess the reason is the restricted sale to members.
@lukacz I hope you get a ticket, We've all gone abroad and tried to catch a game, I appreciate you watching us and not an EPL team. good luck |

on Twickets its saying you do have to be a member and it won't let you progress without putting in your membership number. not seen that before on there, even for Millwall this wasn't a thing I'm sure. |

I know a few of us are Middlesex members. I spent a couple of days watching a run fest. I did see a guy in a QPR beanie hat on either Friday or Saturday, and an old fella in a QPR jacket on Monday in the Middlesex room. I wondered if it was any of you lot? |

Everton and Forest deserve to get relegated, but they won’t because the standard in the Premier League this year is so bad. Luton, Burnley and Sheffield United are some of the worst teams to have ever played in the top flight |

It’s been a poor Premier League, Everton and Notts Forest are terrible, both had points deductions yet they still won’t go down, that’s how bad the standard has been |

As someone that started watching rangers in the mid 80s as a kid, I can always remember whenever we played Sheffield Wednesday, they filled the whole end and were really loud. I think it was around 86, they played in a purple kit. |
