TNT and commentators making such a fuss over the pink ball and how we are in trouble, we seem ok, 206-4 , root and stoke settled and so far no dramas , last session and much to play for. 52 overs, an out of shape ball Aussies want changed but umps have not, yet.

in short the ryder cup of Pool, europe v usa, started last night , some of the best pool players the world at the ALLY PALLY , usually over 4 days , first to 11pts wins. usa dominated for years but lately europe have won 8 of 10, there is banter, friction and last night our talisman player jayson shaw offered to take an abusive yank fan outside !! day one , europe took an impressive 4-0 lead , day 2 this evening, i will be there , hoping to see us extend the lead or at least come away 6-2 . on sky sports from 630pm, a good watch. |

imo H&F council have blocked us for years at QPR, they blocked our astro dome roof in the 80s, for an example .
land in and around the area is now long gone, remember talk of fulham and aviva? building behind white city station? then the dairy site burnt down.
our best chance was the old white city stadium, knock down and rebuild to 40000 then, mid 80s , we were getting 25000 often then , we never knew wembley would come down and take years to rebuild, wimbledon would be homeless to name one . too late now.
what are we doing with land bought near old oak ? i assume it has a value ? i doubt we will be new stadium there now.
leaves wormwood scrubs / linford christie track and east acton station couldn't handle large crowds and you can bet TFL won't pay for any expansion of it .
not to mention we lost the land behind school end , jack tizard?? which is now housing , we may have made that into a 3 tier stand and make if the home end ??
in short, no matter, it ain't happening in my lifetime . |

ok for me the norwich 2nd riles me, i was watching a stream and varane is pulled back and then thrown down but does not even appeal , the ref took ages to whistle, maybe expecting our appeal, nothing came, goal given. why didn't varane appeal??
then norwich excited hit us for a 3rd and game over.
must be an added choker for those who had to wait on replacement bus/coaches to here and there to get home after that.
our expected and dismal run at carrow road goes on. are we allergic to mustard?? |

i thought there was rules against govt interference with clubs? then again we paid for the london stadium, will pay towards development of old trafford , paid for man city ground ( for commonwealth games ) ie tax payers |

electric cars was a gimmick, will it really save the planet? maybe slow it down a bit but until huge industry changes, our small changes are just mind games. how much of what we recycle actually is re-used? or just in landfill? |

firstly i hope Hamer is ok , then well i had us down for a 2 or 3-0 loss , this was the team talk that motivated them and it worked well, lol.
rovers were poor overall, but we played well and even if nardi made a top save at 0-0, point blank, full stretch he did his job well.
smyth took his goal very well and nearly volleyed a 2nd , their goalie knew nothing as it hit him to safety. a 1-0 away win , great. well done those 500 or so hardy souls who ventured to the barren northlands , the journey home was likely sweet .
WE ARE ON A ROLL, 2 unbeaten , the broken canaries next , oh the hope gets me every time! |

i still want the best for qpr but football? it sucks, it is there for the big clubs to get richer as they create their new leagues to suit them, tv is screwing the fans , they want a spectacle for viewers but don't stand, don't drink and don't chant , bans for very little , yes violence and nowty stuff but too many for very little.
if you want sky news sports, they pay little attention to games outside the prem league , may give scores but little analysis or it's own show, despite being one of the biggest in the world?
one game that sticks out for me as a game we were screwed was away at Man Ure , the one where young got crippled by derry, you know, young was off side out side the box but derry got a red and they got a penalty!!!! then stewards dragging qpr fans down the stairs endlessly util we complained to met police observers who finally took a steward away. day ruined by awful ref and stewards yet we paid 1100s to get there, tickets etc. stick it. i select games now and many are red button. |

ewood is a hell hole for qpr. a grim place in a grim part of the world, a qpr win here is like finding a euro millions winning ticket, on a unicorn, with a mermaid in the saddle and a leprechaun handing out free gold. it don't happen.
