Kuta is where most people stay, and all around there for miles is quite frankly pretty hideous. You wanna get yourself into the hinterland, up into the hills and mountains and into what's left of the jungle. Drove across the island on a bike with our lass once, remember stumbling on a derelict temple lost in the jungle, i've never felt more like Lara Croft. Nobody around apart from the ghosts, you could feel the spirits everywhere according to the missus who wouldn't go near the place, so cool.
Black sand beaches...never seen them before. Weird.

The absolute highlight of the NFL each week for me is watching some unsuspecting and defenceless cameraman/cheerleader or whoever stood pitch side on the sideline get completely smashed when they aren't paying attention and some 100kg juggernaut ploughs straight into them from behind at 20 miles an hour. There seems to be at least one in every match, always brings a smile to my face that.
Reminds me of watching the Chinese tourists over here get mullered like skittles by waves dumping on the shore which they don't seem to grasp the peril of. Also always guaranteed to bring a smile.

Hmmm, i hear what you're saying, but if these massive corporations put all of the small ones out of business, damn sure they'll be putting the prices up pronto. A company like Amazon will most likely benefit people in the short-term but to irreparable damage to lots of things in the longer term. As it is in places like Cornwall, all of the towns have gone from having cool little sport shops and toy shops and stuff to be completely sh!t in quick time. We obviously can't halt progress, but that doesn't mean there isn't much to lament.
And speaking of Amazon, https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-50302392

Nice to hear.
He didn't get a long enough opportunity when he was in charge of the first team at QPR.
|Darnell Furlong's quote on leaving QPR|

It doesn't read great, but of course it's just one line. If they'd asked him his feelings about QPR, i'd hope we'd get a different answer.
Ps I always wonder why people see the need to post replies like 'what a stupid thread'; it's so hostile and disrespectful, just discourages people from bothering to post at all and there's almost never anything worthwhile to discuss as it is. Who speaks like that in person? We'd all be having punch-ups all day long if we spoke like that and surely, we're not all supposed to be enemies? I''d have thought either not replying, or perhaps just saying something like 'no, i don't agree' would be a better and far less confrontational way to go.

Neither Mlakar or Pugh have played anywhere near enough to definitively judge them yet.

Sounds like an attempt at a caption competition...

So effing ridiculous.
Once again, it's as if they're actively trying to do things to deliberately spoil the game for everybody.
Tiffany my arse.
|Another shit ref at Goodison today.......|
at 23:29 3 Nov 2019
It has always seemed as if the refs aren't themselves footballers. One can study the game indefinitely and learn the rules off by heart, but without a reasonable knowledge of actually playing the game, it's bloody obviously not possible to fully understand the game and thus be a half-decent referee.
They should get rid of the traffic warden/health and safety inspector types and be paying retired lower league footballers to do it. So many skint ex-footballers, i can't believe they can't attract some of them.

I think they sent a letter to the club, didn't they?
I'd prefer them to beat the p!ss out of the refs.

I absolutely love watching the Haka and whatever the other islanders call their versions. Watching them and the national anthems (obviously particularly the Welsh) are without a doubt the highlight of the game for me.
Fining somebody for walking over a half way line? Too ridiculous for words.

That's very poor, shame to hear that. Hope it doesn't put your boy off.

I wish he was here as a coach or something...

We've a quality option in Bright if it's the case.

It was actually quite good.
About time they had something worth watching. I've never had a blind bit of interest in the ladies' team if i'm honest, but i'd happily keep an eye on them if it was in something like this each week.
Still not as interesting as a team playing a 2-7-2 mind you.
