Makes the game more difficult for exiles like me, I’d intended as usual to travel up and back on the day, but trains back to London that late on Sat evening are pretty unreliable - so it means an overnight stay and the additional expense. Harrogate's first game in the Football League against The Dale..
I seem to remember that Harrogate were 2 up before The Dale got started and when we did get started we finally lost 3-2
This year it is Ebbsfleet United on their first venture into the National League against The Dale.

It wasn't Harrogate's first game either, they'd been in the EFL for a year. It was their first home game in front of fans in the EFL. |  |
