What players would you be looking to keep from the current squad. I'd like to see us keep:
Lillis, Bennet, P.Edwards, SCS, Cav, Tutte, Kennedy, Bobby, Gornell, Grimes, Haworth (if he puts shifts in like yesterday)
With Possibly Jones and rose, but we haven't really seen any of them yet [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

Only Lillis, Grant and Donnelly are under contract for next season.
I would like Bennett to be offered a new contract with the view to play him at right back.
I would suspect that Grimes, Kennedy and Tutte will receive offers from clubs that can offer better contracts than we can. Although strangely I think that Hill (if he stays) could persuade Kennedy to stay.
There may be some merit in offering P Edwards a new contract, although it would depend on how much he wanted and who else was available. I would suspect that everyone else who is out of contract will go, with BBM retiring. |  | | |

Thats because he's not a winger, he's actually a left-back. I thought that was pretty obvious in the way he was playing the wing yesterday, was playing much deeper than a left midfielder would normally do. | |

I really would love to see us try out 5-3-2, seems to be creeping into football slowly... Wigan,Watford and juventus currently using it, and I'm not sure if Barnsley are using at the moment but it would offer something different

As Lillis, Donnelly and Grant are contracted for next season, Lillis may just improve now under Hill, Donnelly is ok as a back up but doesn't deserve to be starting and Bobby Grant is the best player at the club and we need to get him tied down longer if possible.
Of the out of contract players I'd keep:
Rhys Bennett, Joe Rafferty, Phil Edwards, Jason Kennedy, Ashley Grimes, Andrew Tutte, Terry Gornell, Andy Haworth, Ritchie Jones, Michael Rose, Reece Gray (fitness depending)
I'd release:
Matty Edwards, Matty Pearson, Kevin McIntyre, Peter Cavanagh, Dele Adebola, Neill Byrne, Craig Curran, Godwin Abadaki, Sam Minihan, Luke Watson.
Still major changes gonna be required in the summer and I doubt we'll keep all three of Grimes, Tutte and Kennedy which will make it an even bigger job. I'd possibly look at trying to offload Donnelly and save what will probably be a bigger wage. That said, Hilly may be able to get something out of him. |  |

I find it really hard to support him, all things considered.
If anyone can mould him into a great player rather than a good one with an attitude, then it's Keith Hill.
Otherwise, he's a liability. I trust Hill to make the right decision, whether that means getting rid of him, or trying his best to change him. | |
