Rules are rules!!!!! 11:31 - May 20 with 853 views | con_dale | I no rules are rules but uefa need to look at the strength of the premier league coz this is the second time it's happened! At the start of the season top 4 qualified for champions league, 38 games later tottenham had done a fantastic job and done just that but find them self now in the Europa league! Is that really fair? Everton didn't get kicked out!
Rules are rules!!!!! on 11:56 - May 20 with 825 views | rafcrussrafc | everton did get kicked out, they ended up in UEFA cup and one team who qualified for UEFA cup got kicked out cause liverpool won the champions league, but they had to start from first round qualifying

Guess your not a tottenham or Harry fan SFD? Must have a soft spot for the gooners then have u? I also thought that everton lost in the qualifying stages? Sorry if I'm wrong! I think the way round it is to just put tottenham into the qualifying stages?

No.. The way round it is to have a competition that reflects it's name. The word champion should be a decent clue as to who takes part!!!!!!!!!!
| YOU do not have the right to give someone else permission to tell me what I can and can't do. |

Everton played in the qualifying rounds and got knocked out, hence why this rule was made in the first place. Spurs don't deserve to be there because they blew a 2 goal lead against Arsenal? Chelsea blew a 3 goal home lead versus Man United, so surely by that ridiculous reckoning Chelsea don't deserve to be there either.

Rules are rules!!!!! on 12:46 - May 20 with 751 views | pioneer | look at the strength of the premier league? Only one English team made it to the business end of the competition despite have four participants (and mega billionaire owners). And none of the entries in the Europa league did anything. We already have more participants than many other countries.

When I say strength then maybe I should of said strength in depth, in other leagues could you honestly see a team winning champions league then not qualifying the next year? It's happened twice now in England, that shows strength to me! And as for only champions playing we have moved on now and it makes a brilliant competition for the elite of Europe!
Rules are rules!!!!! on 18:24 - May 20 with 609 views | Dale_Iain | Everton were allowed to play in the Champions League, I remember they lost to Villarreal in the qualifying round, think Duncan Ferguson scored in the away leg. Not sure how I remember that, but it was then that UEFA introduced the rule that's cost Tottenham now.
Rules are rules!!!!! on 18:53 - May 20 with 583 views | 442Dale | It's not even a competition for Champions anymore so don't understand the fuss. If Redknapp had taken the Europa more seriously there might be some sympathy, so it's poetic justice they're in it again.
