Manchester City Game Matchday Thread on 15:49 - Dec 19 with 614 views | Ingskneeslide | Doing ok. They are frightening going forward but with a bit more quality we could be level. Dean is determined to see one of ours sent off which isn’t helping. Walcott driving forward is a joy to behold. Still think we could nick a draw

Manchester City Game Matchday Thread on 15:53 - Dec 19 with 578 views | 1885_SFC | I'd bite your hand off for a draw now. It's always a loss seeing Ings come off injured - but it's a great opportunity for young Tella to make a name for himself. We're playing well enough. Just need that bit of luck or bit of skill. Manchester City Game Matchday Thread on 15:54 - Dec 19 with 572 views | Heisenberg | Dean is itching to send someone off. My money's on Romeu. The bloke who pulled down Theo didn't get a yellow. We are also working hard so will run out of steam but overall another good performance from Saints. Vestegard stand out with his passing.

Manchester City Game Matchday Thread on 15:55 - Dec 19 with 567 views | dirk_doone | We played really well in that half. But, we are usually stonger in the first half and in most games have a half-time lead so I'm hoping we don't weaken in the second. I expected to see Redmond come on when Ings had to go off. Tella is an interesting sub. Let's hope he scores.

Yes, Mike Dean has always been a nightmare ref for us. He tends to favour the big northern clubs. There is a theory that northern refs resent having to travel this far south and so have a bit of a chip on their shoulders when they come here. It would not be at all surprising to see him give one of our palyers a red card or award a penalty against us. [Post edited 19 Dec 2020 16:02]

Manchester City Game Matchday Thread on 16:00 - Dec 19 with 536 views | A1079 | I thought we played well in that half and showed a hard work ethic (that may tell later in the game) but again, City get a chance and are clinical and we are not and that is so often the difference between us a truly good side who can win things. I almost feel Djenepo is trying too hard that it is not coming off. Bertrand looked sluggish at times. I think we need to get used to Ings being out more than available. Dean is not helping and he does seem hell bent on getting us down to 10 men, though I do wish Romeu would learn - probably won't now at his stage of his career. I wish we could score as often as he gets a yellow card! I am afraid I think City will score again and I can't see us getting more than One. They will let us run around and press and then hit us.

This is the kind of advantage that big teams get that never gets picked up. He hasn’t sent anyone off (yet) but our two CMs have to be careful now while their left back (who keeps getting rinsed by Walcott) can still play at 100%. Romeu and JWP deserved a yellow but why can’t there be any consistency?

Manchester City Game Matchday Thread on 16:16 - Dec 19 with 500 views | Berber | Walcott working hard to help KWP, both having good games. Djeneppo and Bertrand have never really gelled, and Bertrand is out of position too often.I don't think Djeneppo is having a bad game, but not enough end product from him. As I type this he is subbed. But it was JWP who got caught with his pants down when they scored, jogging back and arriving as they scored. I hope it works out for Teller, looking like a boy in a man's game at present.
