I take it back. An excellent point with lots of positives. Salisu and Livramento look good and Armstrong up front will score goals. McCarthy is dodgy and Stephens although did ok still looks like a mistake is coming. Walcott offers nothing. Overall a good display to lift some of the doom around the club. |  |

The ref only gave two minutes injury time at the end of the first half, even though there were more stoppages than in the second, where he gives five minutes of injury time. Top six favouritism?
Livramento and Salisu top for Saints for me today. I just don't know what to make of Djenepo - he definitely shouldn't be starting games - maybe an impact sub. Stuart Armstrong's running and intelligent play were missing today, but a point well earned.
McCarthy still looks shaky, reflected by a panicky looking defence which looked more solid when Bednarek was brought on....McCarthy's kicking still poor.
