Not waiting too late to use the facilities or an accident with a drink.

A two piece band from the IoW who are making it big in the US and now over here.

Worth a listen.

Not my cup of tea, but I saw on an email ad from a gig ticketing agency, that they have a sold out tour in April - closest gig to us is Wedgwood Rooms in Pompey - perhaps you are going 901 ? If not then they are back again in November.

I am going to see them but not in Pompey

They were on the same Uni course in music as a nephew of mine and I've been following them for a while.

(The nephew's band did not "make it" but is a decent covers outfit for weddings etc).

There is a real need for those bands too. There is a massive pool of decent musicians, but it is the need for excellent songwriting that brings many aspiring bands down.

Went to see them at the Joiners a month or so back. Not bad but if i am brutally honest, i spent more time at the bar getting lashed up.

Off the see a skate band tonight at Heartbreakers (Hallan).

Ready and waiting to mop up those European places......

Aynsley Lyster and his band are on at the 1865 8th September.
Now he's a decent musician who writes great songs.
