The BBC are the scummiest news service out there & have been for decades. Anyone relying on them for impartial news needs to question themselves. As it happens, I hope Trump does sue them for all their bullsh1t and bias. They can't even make a documentary from Gaza without getting a Hamas official's son to present it FFS.
I cannot stand the pure blatant bias from the likes of Jeremy Bowen or the odious John Simpson before him. It's not just their correspondents either. Even the likes of sex pest newsreader Huw Edwards just add to an already embarrassing group of complete wrong'uns within the Corporation.
I honestly wouldn't care if the BBC folded tomorrow. I'd miss David Attenborough documentaries and HIGNFY and that's it... plus I'd be £174.50 per year better off.

The funny thing is the concept of the BBC - a reliable, unbiased, centre of news - is one which would fit a certain needed niche in a world of social media news. But the BBC simply is not that. Privatise please.

The BBC is far from perfect and is in need of reform but the fact that the most vocal people attacking it are Trump, Musk, Farage and Johnson says a lot. Trump has attacked the press in the US and despite it being nothing to do with him has now set his sights on the BBC. And in terms of bias people both on the right and the left say it is biased from their perspective so broadly it must be doing something right. In an era of fake news and political control of media we need to be careful that independent fact based journalism becomes something of the past. Careful what you wish for.

They are meant to allow all parties to have their say, but you'll find that the Greens are on Question Time more than Reform. Yes 115 prisoners released by the Tories The next year under Labour 262 released in error, a 125% increase. Making a bad situation even worse.
