Firstly does anyone know if Bree can play in the up and coming fixture with Charlton? I'm not sure on the rules about a recalled loaned player then playing against his loaned club on return to the parent club.
I'm sure he'll have a few insights on how to beat Charlton, which may prove useful, especially if he is allowed on the pitch.
I think he's made that right back spot his own and I've been very impressed with his form on return from The Addicks. I certainly didn't know he could score with headers :) |  |

When we got relegated we still had Walker-Peters who was always going to be first choice, I seem to remember him switching to left back because Manning was a liability at the time and he only lost his place when he got injured away at QPR
He's obviously a good pro as he come back from his loan with no fuss and gone straight back into the team. Makes the signing of two replacements seem rather foolish but maybe he wanted out in the summer when we had Still in charge? | |

I'm guessing but perhaps by the end of the transfer window they'd already decided to go three at the back with wing backs and brought Jelert into that role alongside Frazer and Fellows. Roedslev was signed to replace Sugawara and was probably expected to be first choice as a more traditional right back. Seems a lot of decisions came from the desire to play Armstrong upfront given how ineffective Downs was and unreliable Stewart's fitness. One of the explanations for Armstrong's departure was that he didn't fit into Eckert's plans going forwards and Eckert' is clearly happier with the current structure and balance of the squad. | | | |
