Looks like Saints New Owners are not going to throw money at the club. Forster signing for Spurs suggests that we cannot afford to pay his wages. If that's the case then we'll never be able to attract any players better than what we already have, we are doomed. Also Saints pre-season match in Austria playing a low grade team for which Ralph's own son plays in goal for would suggest that we are stuck with Ralph for another season. So roll on next season, same manager that has proved that he is not able to motivate his players & the same bunch of players or cheaper new players that will embarrass us all again next season. As for Ralph's back up team of coaches, rumours are that they are not qualified to offer Ralph advice, but it's more likely that Ralph is so arrogant that he doesn't want help or advice, he thinks he has all the answers. Nobody can work with him. Just remember Ralph no one person player or manager is bigger than the club. You won't be so arrogant Ralph when you're sacked before Xmas 2022.

No it doesn’t suggest that whatsoever, as any owners/board members with any sense would be happy that Forsters gone to Spurs. As he was actually supposedly offered a contract, but wouldn’t take a wage cut so wouldn’t sign one (which is why he stopped going to training and is now off to spurs), but the lower wages weren’t as we couldn’t offer him more, but because he didn’t deserve as much/more than what he was currently on. And fair play to the club for letting him go, as he’d of been on the bench next season anyway, as if we get hold of Johnstone, Pope or some other decent PL quality keeper then that’ll be a major improvement, as Forster wasn’t PL quality, so why some think we should offer him a contract with the wages he’s demanding is ridiculous. Especially when we’ve actually got the option to get hold of some much better and younger keepers. As he would’ve been a better option on the bench rather than McCarthy, but why we’d wanna pay him the same/more than whoever we get in just wouldn’t be right, which is exactly why he’s left.

Forster signing for Spurs doesn't suggest to me that we cannot afford to pay his wages. It suggests that we're on the look-out for a better keeper!
Exactly, as why give a non PL quality keeper a PL quality wage, when we can get a PL quality keeper for what could be less than what Forster wants. Bit of a no brainier there.

You don’t think Forster is PL quality?
No I don’t, as he is better than McCarthy, but he’s not PL quality. As if you look at all the main keepers this season in the prem this season, I think only 2/3 (the Leeds, Norwich and maybe Villa keeper) keepers have done worse than he has. As his distribution is awful, he very rarely comes out and I personally only think that soo many have rated him soo highly because of how poor our keepers had been in recent seasons, so they didn’t expect as much as if he was to come in and replace the likes of Pope, Henderson, Pickford etc. And for the wages he expects, you’d probably expect more than an average PL keeper, which he certainly doesn’t have, which is why we might as well use it on a keeper that does have that.

We'll see. I wouldn't be surprised to see him back playing in the Champions League, a level he excelled in before.
Lionel Messi certainly disagrees with Elijah:

Half of these are from back before we even signed him. As yeah he was decent when we had him under Koeman, but that keeper isn’t the same one that’s been in goal for us this season

In the same manner that i have suggested we should wait to see how the new owners act before jumping to conclusions, do you have any evidence whatsoever that the new owners were glad to get shot of Fraser or wages etc were an issue?
Personally think you are making up a load of old böllox tbh.

Unless Lloris gets injured his Premier League career is over.
Thanks and goodbye ‘The Wall’
Implying he is only going for the money, but one last payday as others do when they get to certain age, and may well get the cup games. They are also a Champs League club so could get a few more European games of which there are no chancs with us at the moment

Pope has 2 years left on his contract.
It is Tarkowski who is a free agent.
As is Sam Johnstone……
West Brom have announced that SJ is not being kept, and if true about NP then I misheard Talksport this morning, but anyway there is no way Burnley can afford to keep him so a cheeky offer is surely worth a punt?

Yep, as I said unless Lloris gets injured or suspended his Premier League career is over.
We thought that we had the answers,
It was the questions we had wrong.

Well there’s quite a bit of evidence, as before a recent game (which I think was t,he Liverpool one), Ralph said that Forster had stopped going to the training sessions so was going to be available for that game (hence why he missed quite a few of the last games of the season). And this all occurred just after the club had supposedly started doing the contract negotiations with him, and many sources have now come out and said that he turned down an offer from us and is off to spurs instead as they will pay the wages he wants. As I don’t think the clubs necessarily happy that he’s gone, but they’re certainly happy that they’d not have to pay as high of a wage that he was previously on, hence why he turned down the contract offer.
But there’s loads out there about if you look it up, and Ralph did literally say that he’d stopped going to training, which 9 times outta 10 is to do with things like contracts.

Not what most of these sights have said, as you’d still go training if you had a bad back, it’s just you’d usually be doing more fitness/physio things…
But look no one knows for sure, as I don’t think it’s much of a coincidence that they start negotiating contracts and then Forster doesn’t play and stops going to training, but unless anyones knows anyone on the inside, then no one knows for sure.

Forster has known all season he wouldn't be getting a new deal.
McCarthy signed his new deal months ago and we were never going to keep both as as only need one backup keeper.
