Are you following advice staying in doors and avoiding all socialising? Not going out for tea? Going pubs and cafes and all those places?

If you are then you have nothing to worry about, it's all good.

If you are not following advice like millions of other ppl are not. Then obviously you will catch it, if you can't take advice to protect your self then it's you own fault.

T don't think anyone will find that surprising. We all know that Dominic Cummings has ruled this country for some time now and that he is a ruthless anarchist. When he told his front men to repeat his latest slogan, 'Whatever it Takes", that's what he meant.

1 Take Back Control
2 Get Brexit Done
3 Whatever it Takes

As much as no one with half a brain would be surprised a lot of this country seemed oblivious to the fact that Cummings was hell bent on doing his best to ruin it for the common people so they all voted for Boris
It’s mind blowing still and even more so now watching this clusterfu ck
It’s also astonishing that Labour had fallen so far they weren’t seen as an option

To quote Stipe it’s the end of the world as we know it

I note the article says 'according to those present'. Really!

James O'Brien keeps stirring it up but he's chasing a lost cause.

But here's the sinister Cummings, the most powerful, least accountable person in Government. Be very scared.

I am self isolating as much as I can and my son and his wife have been really helpful. I am alright for the moment but I am worried about getting out and restocking in around a week and online delivery booking is a nightmare. It's more the attitude of 'let them die' from this Cummings person that has upset me. I mean, who is he? How dare he say my life isn't as valuable as his?

I trust the article because it's the Sunday Times. They are a respected newspaper and they support the Conservative party so they wouldn't have a particularly axe to grind

My men's shed has been cancelled, my fishing is cancelled, saints aren't playing until who knows when? I can talk to relatives on Skype, but if I am going stir crazy what will it be like for all these kids who are off school? I can only see increased delinquency

You can go outside, in fact going outside is a good thing to do, just be sensible and get some fresh air avoiding crowds. Our landslide majority Conservative government are doing a very good job. Before you politicise this pandemic you should first consider how lucky you are the likes of Corbyn and Diane Abbott aren’t running the show.

I am sorry but I should not have to feel grateful for this utter mess I don't know what planet you live on.

I voted against Corbyn because he won't press the button and I didn't believe labours stance on Brexit.

To be honest where I live it's either Conservative or Liberal anyway but alot of other stuff labour were saying has come true and come to pass. This government is throwing money around at twice the rate labour said they would spend and we were told McDonnell would wreck the economy.

The fact the Times article shows this government knew this was coming in February and did diddlysquat whilst saying us pensioners were a price worth paying is beyond the pale.

I have 2 pensions, I am not well off but more comfortable than some. We can't even give our workers sick pay at the same level as European workers. Or rather we can but for some reason won't.

I don't know how old you are but don't patronise me

I dont think the government can be accused of throwing money about, this is a world crisis, when they tried to delay stopping daily life as normal they were accused of being negligent, when they did that and announced financial aid plans they are now accused of copying labour and throwing money around.

This is a difficult time, there is nothing to gain and everything to lose

Odd thing to say considering they have brought in just about every one of Corbyn's policies and then some.

Labours spending plans was before the crises, picture their spending o top of the bail out package bojo just gave.

In the last election, labour had to be the worst party ever in UK history...

You don't really think that if we introduced all these measures when there was no global pandemic it would be a good thing ?

Kent, so if things turn out well the Tories are screwed. If it doesn't then the Tories certainly will be screwed. I guess your mind is already made up. Wish I could be so certain. Like to predict the outcome of the Premier League?

Forget about the money and what Labour would have done, the crux of the matter is that Cummings allegedly thought it was worth sacrificing the vulnerable and elderly to build up resistance.

If so it looks the days of loony generals in World War One are still with us god forbid, how can anyone defend this action.

Allegedly - that's the point in the world of fake news. Cummings never makes a quote to the hungry newshounds so maybe they just make it up ?

If Cummings didn't say that, the Sunday Times would now be in really big trouble as the government would take them to court and very publicly punish them for lying.

I know the way the Sunday Times operates and they would not have published that without corroborating their story from more than one reliable direct source. It's pretty obvious that a couple of people at that meeting were shocked by what Cummings said.

And how have they "ruined it"? WHat have they done that has "ruined it" for the ordinary people of the UK? The fact is people like you still don't seem to understand why Labour catastrophically lost the election, and you still blab on as though Corbyn and Co were right and somehow all those people in the north and Midlands accidentally put their X in the wrong box. What a stupid dogma riddled fool you are, destined to follow Corbyn into an embittered obscurity still thinking you were right. You already seem to think the Tories created this virus. You don;t have a clue, let alone any moral high ground, as your attempt to lie about NHS funding shows.

How have they ruined it???? Where do you want to start? But the greatest disparity between the rich and poor anywhere in the developed world save the USA is a good point.

I see. So they have done all this in four months. Perhaps you are suffering from "Idiots Amnesia" that imagines every ill in the world started the second the result of the last election was declared. What was this disparity in 2010 when Labour were still in power, and how much has it changed in the time since (half of which was a coalition with another party)? It is also worth dissecting the actual composition of wealth, as the mix varies from country to country. I can wait.
