I have had some personal and familial contact with Mr Howe - albeit not much.
He is a person who carries grudges and is reported to have not picked players because they upset him in six a side training games which he likes to join in on.
An England manager needs to put aside personal grievances or preferences and pick people based on the best available for the plan he wants to play.

Well, he clearly has a grudge with Ryan Fraser.
But every Boscombe fan would have taken Howe’s side in that matter.
Fraser will get pelters at Boscombe away if he is playing for us.
There seems to be an anti-Howe undercurrent on this forum which I have never understood.
We would not have been relegated if we had got him when he was available and Hassenhutl was beginning to lose the plot. | |

Agree. Some seem to argue that it’s cos he hasn’t achieved anything yet there are plenty of so-called managers out there in that boat. Don’t think he has too shabby a record tbh. |  |
