That was shocking today, another borefest THB and JS both instigated the art of slow play. The crosses were few and far between with the only quality one ending in a fantastic header. We have been crying out for a big man in the middle and now we have one we spend most of our time trying to pass it into the net. Manning and Leo had numerous opportunities but ended up just going backwards. The couple of times we did speed the passing up they were left wanting. Still we didn’t lose so onwards and upwards to Tuesday. |  |

Another 2 points dropped I'm afraid. May have been different if Manning's 1st half shot was a couple of inches lower rather than hit the bar, but yet again we give the ball away needlessly for their equaliser

We battered Charlton today. That last 10 minutes of injury time, we really piled the pressure on. Missed a few great chances, hit the bar, just one of those games. Charlton wasted time, went down every 2 minutes, played 10 men behind the ball and we just couldn't get the win.
Unfortunately, I have a feeling that not beating a poor Charlton side at home could be a bit of fatal blow come the end of the season. Wrexham won and are 4 points in front of us now. It's so hard to keep chasing. | |

Weird game, I thought the performance was good, not converting chances came back to haunt us.
The momentum seemed to change for a bit the minute Charles went off and we conceded very soon afterwards.
We looked a little vulnerable at that point but for some reason Charlton decided to run down the clock rather than go at us and we managed to regain some composure.
Echo what was said earlier about us trying to pass the ball in the net against a team that had 11 players behind the ball. It is as if we’re scared of shooting.
I think they had one shot and managed to score it. Missing out on the playoffs is going to be caused by results like that, although we are no where near being ready for those against some of the teams occupying those positions currently. |  |

Sadly this squad are a long way off being able to compete in the Premiership.
The only way we could compete is investing huge and that is not going to happen.
