The police exist (at least in part) to protect the man and woman in the street, going about their daily business and doing a job of work. I'm not sure what would have been gained by trashing an individual branch of McDonalds or Starbucks, it would have no effect on the multinational conglomerates that actually avoid the tax but it could have ended up injuring some minimum wage Joe just trying to earn a crust. | |
