Good campsites/places to camp 16:04 - Aug 24 with 3871 viewsDrizzy

Anyone got any suggestions for a picturesque site or area to camp in this weekend? Anywhere in South-West or Wales or around Brecon way.

Only going for one night so if anyone knows of a good spot to wild camp it'd be much appreciated.

TIA

Going to be busy this weekend, being a bank holiday Monday, some great spots in Pembrokeshire but a fair distance to go for one night

I know loads of good sites in Builth/Brecon area. Lakeside at Llangorse is a great site if you have kids, plenty of open space, and a couple of pubs in the village a few minutes walk away.

Hillend won't let you do one night this weekend.

I haven't been, but I've been thinking of trying this one

Being serious though why a campsite if there's a few people get up the mountain with food/beer and light a fire.

It'll be heaving there this weekend Dickie, great location though. Porthclais farm near St David's is also a great spot, overlooking the sea and right next to the coastal path, some of the best scenery anywhere.

What about Pembrey Country Park, there's a site in the park, it's close to the beach, coastal path.

Plenty of good tug spots about in the summer, schools are shut as well so anyone on a special order can rub away without fear of breaching it. The order that is .....
Maybe a planet swans tugathon before the weather changes ?
