Would Jesus vote Plaid ? 12:02 - Apr 20 with 4163 viewstrampie

People say Jesus was a socialist therefore if Jesus was living today in Wales its likely he would vote Plaid.

Anti austerity social justice party Plaid good, Brit Nat survival of the fittest austerity parties not so good.

Well Leanne is a staunch republican and Jesus was king of the Jews so I don't think they would be very close bed fellows.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

The question is would Jesus vote for Plaid ?, not would Plaid or Leanne vote for Jesus.

I suppose they do have a lot in common like red wine flowing through their veins.

I think he'd be better off performing a miracle rather than voting for them. They need all the help they can get.

Nothing says "let's improve the lives of everyone across the world" quite like voting for a party that wants to create a smaller country and impose a border between England and Wales.

Socialism is supposed to be international, not national.

None of Plaid's founders would back its present incarnation, Tramp, much less Christ.

Being serious, why would Jesus, a supposed socialist, vote Plaid?

Surely he'd vote for the Socialist party of England and Wales, what with being a socialist - unless trampie is claiming they are "red tories" too.

It's going to be a long seven weeks if Trampie starts endless threads about whether (insert name) would vote Plaid.

Would the Easter Bunny vote Plaid?

On the badger cull alone I'd have the easter bunny down as a tory, also, he's a rabbit, so vermin.

Are you trying to suggest that Trampie would get confused between Militant and The Church Militant?

Don't underestimate the place of the Hare in Celtic mythology, Lisa. Arianrhod the Moon Goddess spoke to them and they speak to Tramp.. every March.

Well, given "usury" was used as an excuse to persecute Jews, I'm wondering what trampie's view of it would be?

But, if you mean in the case of something like pay day loans, you can understand high interest rates. The loans are intended to be short term only. People take out loans they know they can't repay, deliberately defaulting expecting it to get written off. You can blame the lenders for lending it to high risk groups in the first instance, sure.
