Frightening

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Itll be more frightening at the point where (if) we sell Llorente and Gylfi and we are sat about waiting to see if they spend the money and on who

If there's anything in the theory that we're waiting for August 1st (I can't believe there isn't a way around that) it means that the deal is done so any sensible business would also have deals lined up to be triggered by the first deal.

I did say sensible business mind...

The squad is thin but as things stand it's not worse than the start of last season. That being said, we are a bit thin on the ground and most all fans seem to agree on the areas we need proper strengthening. The siggy saga needs to be put to bed for sure as you'd think our transfer business this summer should not have been dependent on his nor FL going/being sold off.

Last year HJ got it wrong in the summer surely the club cannot make the same mistakes again and go into the season under strength. Where is the CB, RB, Creative midfielder and Winger we need? And that doesn't include replacements for GF nor FL.

The Gylfi saga is no excuses for not strengthening..we managed safety with 2 weeks to go with a good end of season run.
More most of the season we really were awful and at many points under PC..the weaknesses that had to be addressed regardless of outgoings were better CDM( achieved by swapping Mesa for Cork). The others still to be sorted are RB, CB, another more creative CM, attacking option(winger or other attacking option, depending on preferred formation), better option than Baston(achieved by bringing in Abraham).
Both Mesa and Tammy seem better options than the ones they replaced but we don't know yet.

So all those positions have noubt to do with Gylfi or Llorente possibly leaving..if they do the club should have like for like replacements.

The clear FACT is with the transfer fees as they are we should have a very smart recruitment set up in place..THIS is where we really need to invest in for the long term future.
It seems to me that nothing has changed at all and inevitably will only lead one way.
