Think Bradford PA were relegated in that season 69/70 - to be replaced by Cambridge United.
Bradford PA still exist, just about, and I see the odd fan of theirs now and again - usually old weird duffers sat in the corner of the pub, sporting tatty green and whites scarves.
Totally outnumbered by BCFC fans now, of course.
Their original 19th century ground is a sad place, bounded on one side by one of Bradford's more f**ked up estates and on the other by a huge, pink-stoned, terminally unfinished mosque.
Their most famous "old boy" was Kevin Hector, who went on to find a modicum of glory at Derby County in the 1970's. |

Their old ground in 69 was demolished, it was a quaint place next to a cricket stadium, similar to Craven cottage, the stand we were in was called the "Chicken run" about 12 feet wide!........ONE OLD Swan was a regular there Derek Draper old DD.

People overestimate Cardiff support in Port Talbot because most of their PT lot are headers that make a lot of noise. Probably as many Swans fans within the actual city of Cardiff itself. |
