I not usually privy to any inside information but I have been told that home grown players are being sidlined in the U23s in favour of Scottish players as a certain person is trying to justify his job to the Yanks.

Liam Cullen and whichever one of the Evans's is the better one (Kieran or Jack) should be playing week in week out for the 23s this season (along with Rodon and Lewis). Instead we've got no-hopers like King, Blair and Biabi clogging up the pipeline.

Nothing personal against any young player, of course, but we have to have faith in the same area that has produced Ben, Joey, Macca, and Jazz prior to 2012.
