It's Chester races and they put on two-carriage trains which means people have been standing since before Shrewsbury and it's so full that people are being refused access at Wrexham even though they have a pre-paid ticket. Not a one off occasion either, it's every time. |  |

Same for the rugby internationals. Two carriages going down on the Manchester line, totally overcrowded and then they just go straight through Pontypool without stopping. Having said that does anybody remember the singing ticket collector on that line? Absolute star and lightened up an away trip. A couple of boys from Aberdare might remember him.
