Thanks for 2005. Happy retirement.
Had all the talent in the world but mental health dogged him.

Superb batsman. Hardly ever moved his feet.

One of the best shots to see was a full blooded cover drive from him. Good luck to the fella.

I loved watching Marcus bat for England.

Yes his mental health was a major factor in his International career being shortened and Steffan Jones didn’t help matters (allegedly).

Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

When Nick Knight was unable to open for England due to injury, Duncan Fletcher picked Trescothick as a replacement due to an impressive century he'd scored for Somerset against Glamorgan the previous season.

Happy retirement ... Exciting player to watch. So sad he missed so much international cricket due to illness.

Very much like teams playing against the Swans ... Player hasn't scored for 12 months, team hasn't won for 12 games, caretaker manager's first match etc

Boom, we're here to help 😂
