South Africa v England 11:16 - Dec 26 with 11936 viewsexiledclaseboy

First test now. Saffers 97/4 just after lunch. England won the toss. Sam Curran does have a welcome habit of taking wickets in the first over of a spell. Done it twice today.

Poll: Tory leader

Anderson with a Wicket first ball!
Black arm bands on for Bob today.
He'll be hugely missed.
It was very amusing to see the documentary in the lunch break where all on Sky cricket at its very beginning circa 1990 had a black blazer on with the SKY logo on the left breast.
Back in the early part of 1990 I remember watching cricket on "Piping" on sky one, the super channel, Channel 4 and MTV which changed to another channel half way through the day!!!

Six caught behinds tells its own story.
Bairstow still can’t defend against pace - still, at least he didn’t nick one to the keeper...

Huge gamble to put them in - even 200 would look big batting last on this.

Would be if Root had the first fûcking idea of how to set a field for Archer trying to get a much-needed wicket near close of play.

Fûcking clueless!

Usual thing . The press build them up, then they get found out. Like the football.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Anderson bowling to a night watchman on an unpredictable wicket with only two slips!

Root is utterly clueless.

Edit: night watchman as one word is apparently “unacceptable language”. 😂

Dunno. Not sure why he’s in team to start with.

That’s easy. Ollie Pope was ill.

Six down now. Chasing less than 300 is possible even if highly unlikely given that we can’t bat very well.

With illness going through the team as well this has all the makings of a disastrous tour. Certainly not what Silverwood would have wanted.

I think the highest 4th innings total here is 251, and then it wasn't really a 4th innings because you had Hansie Cronje and a leather jacket to help England.
