I know 2 guys on this project and they've been on it for over a week now 7am-7pm. Among other projects one of them hasn't had a day off for 5weeks, that is some serious dedication

| The old Ford plant Jersey Marine on 23:24 - Apr 9 by Darran | I said on Twitter a week ago that the amount of ‘field’ hospitals being set up in the whole of the UK is extremely worrying. If you added up the amount of beds you’re talking about several hundred thousand beds. |
I'm 100% in agreement with this. BBC News said last night that there was still capacity in some London hospitals, yet we're building hospital wards and morgues at an incredible rate. It's fair to say the numbers out of China are 'massaged' and the numbers we're seeing here are only confirmed cases where people have been admitted to and tested in hospital. It doesn't account for the number of people that will actually die. If I ever forget myself I only have to open my front door to hear the sound of sirens wailing to remind myself what's actually happening out there.

It’s incredible isn’t it? I live less than a mile from Singleton and am used to sirens occasionally but it’s non stop recently.

| The old Ford plant Jersey Marine on 10:51 - Apr 10 by dickythorpe | We needed the "WHO" to have been awake. Testing holds the key here for the future economic fortunes and hie long we are in "lockdown" |
They were awake, it's just that we weren't... "The World Health Organization warned the US and other countries about the risk of human-to-human transmission of Covid-19 as early as 10 January, and urged precautions even though initial Chinese studies at that point had found no clear evidence of that route of infection. Technical guidance notes seen by the Guardian and briefings by top WHO officials warned of potential human-to-human transmission and made clear that there was a threat of catching the disease through water droplets and contaminated surfaces, based on the experience of earlier coronavirus outbreaks, such as Sars and Mers." https://www.theguardian.com/wo

Look closer to home ( Italy Spain Holland Germany etc) for a more accurate way of how this thing is going to work out for us. [Post edited 10 Apr 2020 13:54]

Aye, "But China!" is being shouted out by many people do distract-from/cloud the issues and promote their, often unfounded or downright false, narrative.

| The old Ford plant Jersey Marine on 08:19 - Apr 10 by builthjack | The one in Builth is now ready. The Council carpenters have made 3000 plywood coffins. Frightening. |
Was listening to the radio about a week or so ago and there was an ex serviceman who is now a lorry driver talking to the radio host . The driver said that he had been working for a building supplies company but was now transporting plywood only . When the host asked him why there was such a demand for plywood he replied -He was delivering it to coffin makers .
