Family leave second home after safety warning
A family from Liverpool who had travelled to their second home on Anglesey have returned to Merseyside after being warned over concerns for their safety.

The family left the house in Llandegfan earlier this week after a visit from police.

Local councillor Carwyn Jones said he had alerted police because he was worried about the atmosphere locally.

“Tensions were running quite high," he said.

"Thankfully the police came immediately.”

He said he hoped people concerned about people visiting second homes would not take the law into their own hands.

North Wales Police said: ”We attended an address in Llandegfan and on speaking to the family about concerns raised, they returned to Liverpool.”

You might think I've forgotten, but one day, when you least expect it, my time will come.

So thats a no then. 😃

Withy - a tough, flexible branch of an osier or other willow, used for tying, binding, or basketry.

Story goes there was a huge bush of it on the hospital site. It was used to weave the coracles that the folks of Haverfordwest used, to see off the French in the last invasion of the UK. Now we know who voted for Brexit

Apparently there is still part of the bush growing there, and the legend goes if it dies, then, a plague will beset Haverfordwest, brought from a foreign land.

Sorry to hear about the housewives of Langdegfan, always thought it a gentrified area. Still they should be able to protect us from any maritime invasion from the NW. have Canada reached the ‘stay alert’ stage yet?

You’ve lost it as well dicky.

If two people are seriously ill first thought is surely that they get better not that they are ‘idiots’ or where they come from.

What with the ‘supermarkets are delivering in Wales when the billing address is in England’ bollox people are going mad.

I blame the English, coming over here and stealing our virus.

OK I've changed it.
