| NFL on 19:11 - Sep 13 with 866 views | britferry | my team are losing as usual, they've just become the Las Vegas Raiders. I've always wanted to see them play and I've always wanted to go to Vegas... guess I'll have to do it now, once the world gets back to normal... hang on, they just took the lead 17-12 | |

| NFL on 21:34 - Sep 13 with 812 views | majorraglan | Went to a few games back in the 80s and 90’s at Wembley, complete borefests and I would never go again. I am happy to watch watch the occasional highlights on TV, but that’s about it. Been to a couple of baseball games, pretty much the same experience. After 5 innings I’d had enough and was ready to leave. Never been to a basketball game, but that doesn’t appeal either. Quite fancy an Ice Hockey match though, on the occasions I have been to see the Cardiff Devils I have enjoyed. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
| NFL on 10:38 - Sep 16 with 737 views | onehunglow | Personally, for me,NFL is the most boring game possible to watch. Not stop stoppages .Ice hockey different . Ive seen a game in Canada and its different gravy to the British League. These lads are seriously skilful, tough and mad as frogs. Like all sports though ,it has its tedious sides. | |

Looks like we've lost to the Pats away but who doesn't. At least we stuffed the Cards in week 2... first loss this week so a 2-1 record, which is good for the Raiders | |

Must confess having played Rugby in America for 8 months at an American college. I can confirm that not only are the American football tackles at college level so violent that you can literally feel the shockwaves when they hit if you're standing within 20 yards of the impact. But also that American football players who then turn to Rugby are not only absolutely fearless but the American rugby game has no peers in the hard as nails physical stakes including as played in Wales. My first culture and physical shock was on my first matchday when my own team in La Crosse, Wisconsin played 3 full 80 minute consecutive games one straight after the other in one afternoon as to my astonishment new opponents kept turning up from all over Wisconsin just as we finished the previous game. I lasted a game and a half before exhaustion and physical damage kicked in, others played all three games. [Post edited 11 Oct 2020 21:59]

| NFL on 21:50 - Oct 11 with 544 views | Fireboy2 | Does anyone remember the Swansea dragons ffrom the mid 80s? They were set up after the game was televised extensively on S4C. I went to watch one game and that turned me off for good. The game is an hour but they drag it out for around 4 hours as thats how the yanks love their sport, it's a full day for them but not for me thanks Each to their own though. Yeah the game is full on, the collisions are unreal, I played both codes of rugby to a decent standard and I've been hit hard and also hit hard but these boys really really hit hard, that's why they are less aerobic than rugby players, they are more powerful. | | | |
