| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Cabango went on loan to TNS and he's doing alright. Admittedly younger than Gould at the time.

Something like 4/5 years difference at the time. It's not great when the young uns don't kick on but a 23 yr old, even a goalkeeper, should be pushing for a first team place by that age, not bumming around in the WPL.

Josh Gould on 21:33 - Nov 13 with 647 views | Dr_Winston | It's been one of the criticisms of our youth setup for a while that certain players were still involved well after their due time. That goes at least as far back to Martinez deciding to bring Chad Bond back after KJ gave him the boot. For sure some players are later developers than others, but realistically if they're not in contention for a first team squad spot (relative to league position) by the time they're 19/20 then odds are they're never going to be.

Josh Gould on 00:05 - Nov 14 with 595 views | jasper_T | Gould was old for a prospect when we picked him up. Came late to the game so maybe hoping for a late-bloomer, but mainly plugging a gap until the actual players come through and so Benda could go out on loan.

All these guys have contracts. Even if they are not in the clubs plans they still can play and give of their best. Swansea will give these guys the best possible chance and then it is up to them. More fail than suceed. Very few that have left early without a fee have caused Swansea to regret their decsions. Gwion Edwards has had some hot spells but probably would not get into the Swansea team.

Rhys Norrington Davies is one we are possibly starting to regret letting go I'd say
