Germany 1 up - penalty

That wasn't a penalty, but the other one was which they've missed.

H-t 2-1. A nice finish by Mark Harris.

Welsh defence and defensive midfielders have are treating the Germans with far too much respect in my opinion. They are passing and controlling the ball uncontested. The Germans are pushing the Welsh off the ball far too easily looking for free kicks and persistently not getting them. .

it going to be a long second half.

Only 17% possession yet only 1-2 down - with 1-2 Shots on target. All a bit bizarre

Our left back looks decent

Men against boys.

Apart from their keeper who looks about 12.

Always going to be difficult. We are still hanging on in there and in the game.

Aaron Lewis made a big difference, suddenly we had a player on the pitch who could control the ball without having to get his body over it.

Two very good bits of defending from Joe Lewis after coming on. Shame Oli didn't get a few minutes at least, he's a better player than half the lads we had out there.

Clifton looks a good player. Boyes did well for a centre half at left back. Broadhead had a shocker. Difficult for the wingers as they had to defend like wingbacks against Raum and Baku bombing on. We'd have been better served getting Aaron on earlier and going 3-5-2.

2-1 FT.. Aaron Lewis with his little cameo looked good. Poole could have scored on a corner. Germany had a high press. Wales had no press anywhere. A couple of chances in the second half with the Poole miss and Broadhead just missing a Touray pass. Better second half but no threat on the break where the lone runners were tackled easily with passing options ignnored.

Matondo, Woodburn, Neco Williams, Cabango, Ampadu Tyler Roberts and Smith might have given them decent contest. I was expecting another 5-0 so credit them for that,

Add Levitt, Robbie Burton and Jack Evans to the missing list in midfield. We'd be in good shape if the seniors would stop nicking players.

Neco Cabango Ampadu Norrington-Davies
Levitt Evans Smith
Burton
Matondo Roberts

That would be a full team if there wasnt one double barreller
