I thought they looked good in the first half, they got the ball into a few dangerous areas fairly quickly and if that moaning tvvat knockaert had placed his shot better he would have scored.
I think they like us also have a winger playing up front but it doesnt take away how well the back three played, they did their job that well you never noticed them. |
I think they passed the ball around really well at the back and made our press look really poor (or our press was poor!). They linked well with their midfield and gave them a lot of quality ball, but from midfield to the forwards they were weak. Poor finishing when they should have scored and sometimes a lack of confidence really saved us.
We can't always rely on poor finishing, especially when we're lacking goals at the other end. |  |

Yeah I'm with you now on this one FB, Lowe needs a rest. Give Vik a go, I was impressed with this movement against Brentford.
Edit - No slight on Lowe as I still believe he brings lots more to the team other than goals, but I think the missed chances has drained confidence a bit and he could do with a midweek day off to freshen the limbs a bit. [Post edited 2 Dec 2020 12:38]

He should of made a challenge for the first goal, took a booking if needed, but it's easy for me to say that afterwards when it's taken a massive deflection.
Wasn't to be last night, but I can see it becoming a more familiar outcome unless we sort ourselves out at other end, defence least of the worries for me (imo). | | | |
