So to summarise in order of liklihood.
a) Guehi is returning to Chelsea after their latest shoddy defensive performance.
b) Latibeaudiere is seriously injured
c) Bennet is seriously injured
d) Cabango is being sold
e) Latibeaudiere is going on loan to Newport.

If Chelsea want Guehi back they will get him back. Mr Winters even with a rock solid contract would be willing to rip up he contract subject to a suitable alternative arrangement agreed to by Cooper. Namely Billy Gilmour on loan for 18 months.

It will be a shame for Cooper if he's here just to sit on the bench but unless Bennett and Lati are out for a lot longer than expected then that's what will be happening unfortunately.

Chelsea are one of the richest teams in the world and Swansea would be wise to stay on side with them. If they wanted him back Chelsea would be welcme to renegotiate a deal even if ha had a rock sold no recall clause.
They have about 40 players they could use to compensate Swansea or they could offer Swansea a cash incentive. FA rules and regulatios might be the only obstacle.
Being 'owed a favour' by Chelsea is a good place. | |

There’s been a very strong sense of we tell people what we like now at Swansea, news is generally kept to the very few, I’m unsure why this would be in Coopers case, but of course if we are in for another defender it gives the selling club more leverage. The last training session was Friday morning, so if anything happened it happened then. With Bennett out for two more weeks or so, Latibeaudiere longer, if Cooper has an injury I suppose it is best kept quiet. But I’ve heard nothing, hopefully the rumour is wrong, or it’s a knock. | |
