| Garth Lagerwey on Jordan Morris : The facts, the figures, straight from the hear on 16:25 - Jan 31 by KeithHaynes | Granted, but for many swans fans it’s a confused picture. Tomozawa is not new news, but for many it is. He is minority investor, that many people have never spoken about at any length. The crux of the article is more about the continued interest by the main shareholders and the revelation for many they may well be acting in their own interests but the knock on effect is it’s also ‘potentially’ decent for us as committed swans followers. |
Let's hope it does turn out mutually beneficial

My point was more an explanation of why having ‘investments’ in two clubs isn’t quite what it seems. He doesn’t have any significant stake. The ones with stakes that are in any way significant are the ones on the board of the club. There is no doubt that the ownership group have a particular interest in any possible strengthening of ties to the US. One of the brand ambitions was to make the Swans ‘America’s favourite team’ (for those who are not supporters of the ‘big 4’ and are the non traditional ‘soccer’ supporters - those looking for a ‘favourite team’ as the interest in football over there grows). It’s why the spectacularly dreadful appointment of Bob Bradley happened, the links with Landon Donovan, etc etc. It was all about building brand in the US. It’s still happening, albeit I suspect there’s more of an eye on the realisation that in order for the strategy to work, you have to be in the PL. not least because those are the games that are shown on the TV there.

Confused is the exact word. Most fans have not a clue as to what goes on.We have internet experts who know it all though and it's confusing as to how the Trust was so duped,or confused.

| Garth Lagerwey on Jordan Morris : The facts, the figures, straight from the hear on 16:19 - Jan 31 by londonlisa2001 | There were one or two that came on board after the original ‘28’. Can’t remember exactly when or who they were. May have been quite a few of course. No one would know. Which is the whole problem. |
Looking at the list of 28 is the name Cliff Singer. Cliff Singer's brother "Rick" Singer is facing 65 years in jail as the ring leader of the $25M "College Admissions Scandal" in the USA. It has been mentioned quite a few times in the press and court that "Rick Singer" is/was an unnamed investor in Swansea City!!

If that’s a dig, once again, at me, I have only had a connection with the Trust since after the sale of the club, and, indeed, after the first vote of Trust members. Prior to that, I was a member only. As you have been told on any number of occasions. I merely posted some factual information to avoid people becoming unduly concerned at the thought of a Swansea owner also owning a rival club.
