He didn't want Arriola, I have zero doubts. Pleased with deadline day? "I’m pleased we didn’t lose anybody. Like anything, you bring players in with the idea that it can help you. The proof will be in the pudding. I’m very happy with the squad of players anyway, but it's always good to get some fresh faces in, and hopefully it can help us going forward." Arriola? Very energetic? "It’s a non-negotiable. We’ve got a reputation for our style of play, we want to play with a lot of energy, heart and soul. Any new players will quickly see we’re very demanding." How well supported have you been by owners? I don’t think about that too much, all I think about is the players I work with every day. You’ve got to think about what you have got. I’m looking at the squad now, and whatever squad we had, I’d say ‘how do we prepare and win the next game?’.

Well all updates since the change at the top have said its ongoing. No real reason to disbelieve that apart the time it's taking.

It’s very relevant to a lot of people and for good reason too. If it’s irrelevant to you then so be it. You can keep your beak out in that case.

Nasty and no need for it ,is there? It's my opinion and my beak is well away. It is opinion. Post tidy or do one

Glad you’re keeping your beak out as it’s fair to say that you’ve got some very weird observations on most things👠

And “the time it’s taking“ is crucial and significant I’d say ....

If the Swansea Trust want to leave the club then this should happen. The sellers wanted to go found a buyer and left. If they want to leave I recommend they show some patience and come to an agreement with the majority holders to sell their shares for the projected legal case award (of £13-£14m) when Swansea city return to the PL or failing that the same award in 5 years time. They will need to understand they will not be allowed back into the club once they have left. Swexit means Swexit.

Potentially. More likely is that there's a number of entirely innocent banal reasons for the delay though.

Don't you think it was the other way round? The Americans found them I'd have thought. Unfortunately the way they left has left them open now to potential litigation so its nothing to be lauded in alll honesty. The trust has exercised plenty of patience. These delays in the process of the trust initiating the actual legal case have given the Americans ample opportunity now to be true to their words of a few weeks back. We'll have to see if they make any effort and are true to their words. Why do you say that? Don't you subscribe to the mantra that their money is as good as anyone else's? Or is this another example of you ignoring your own logic to further your agenda?

| Cooper and the Owners on 17:27 - Feb 11 by ReslovenSwan1 | The Convertible Loan note allows for converting the loan into shares. Had the Trust agreed to sell some of their holding in 2017 at 2016 PL price, 5%, they would be in a postion now to buy the new cheap shares at a discounted championship price. The 5% annual interest could also be convertible into cash and extra shares depending on terms. The new agreements with the US peole should give the Trust the same investment 'perks' the US people like Mr Silverstein was offered. To do this they need some serious money in the bank under management and be prepared to use it and be able to make their case. They should use any profits for reinvestment in stadium expansion for example if that prospect returns. . |

We have found a formula to play with two up top, in the wide strikers, Andre and Jamal have occupied those positions. But we haven’t had a number nine all season. Circumstances haven’t really changed apart from we’re one less with Jordan not being available now. It’s about not letting it interfere with our progress and our journey. There’s still a load of games coming up. >> Another dig at board. I did criticise him for this as in my mind he paid a big chunk out our budget on Whittaker who is for the future, but from Scott's media snippets last week that was his man. Cooper could well have the right to be p*ssed off.

I cannot remember anyone that the club were linked with to be honest . Not as a number 9. Clearly reuniting Lowe with Kieffer Moore would have been a good deal. £3m the pair. Borja had a decent run in the team at the start of last season but faded. Charlie Austin was the man required but would not come cheap. Assombalonga and Dhediogu were going cheap (excluding wages) as both are out of contract in the summer. It made sense for both clubs to swap them but the players probably had other plans. Not selling Ayew made life difficult.

| Cooper and the Owners on 16:34 - Feb 22 with 324 views | Chief | Sam Greenwood of Leeds was linked on loan and apparently they were approached on deadline day. Not sure the reason why it didn't happen, but we were evidently obviously in the market for a striker. So it is a bit baffling that there was no back up plan, but we spent money on a player for the future, in a position we were already decently stocked in. | |
