Bradley's biggest achievement was with Egypt IMO.
But I would argue that Egypt and USA were task followers especially in training whereas 'sophisticated' premier league players were just confused at being shown how to kick a ball.
(Check out the videos)
I'd be looking to Osian Roberts or Steve Cooper - he's won the World Cup don't you know.

I haven't looked into it much so i admit that i maybe ignorant here, but surely an African Nations cup win and or World Cup Qualification should be minimum aim for Egypt? Don't think he managed either there did he?

Coleman was agreat manager for Wales as he did the simple task of getting big stars to actually turn up. That was first first acheivement. Wales have alway had big stars but did not get Colemans results. Coleman built a strong defence which has aleway s been a weakness. Even if Colemn left Bale and ramseay to do their own thing it worked and he deserved credit for not changing things and ordering good players to play out of position.

Take Bale and Ramsey out of the equation and Wales would probably not not have qualified, i think most would agree with that, Coleman was not capable in being a great manager for anyone as his record proves elsewhere, he just got lucky with Wales due two two world class players being on top of there game and an easier qualifying process than in the past.

Could have sworn we got to a Euros semi final too!? Must have imagined it.

Anyway thanks for taking time during the Swans game to provide that insight

Again all down to Bale and Ramsey who scored more than half the goals between them and produced outstanding world class performances, it beggars belief that you honestly believe your so called Colemans great management skills for Wales would have got them anywhere without those two.

But we did have them.

And we did qualify.

= Great manager of Wales.

I haven't said whether i think or not he'd have got results with or without anyone, so not sure why you're trying to put words in my mouth there.

Facts are there, no need to pretend players were unavailable or not.

Not pretending if they were available or not they actually played go back and take a look at the footage there the ones scoring most of the goals

So by your logic then, a manager of Wales can never do a good job? For example look at these scenarios:
1) imagine we have no or few good players. Its highly unlikely that any manager would achieve anything. So presumably the shingle verdict = failure.
2) imagine we have some very good players but don't achieve anything and don't win games, presumably the shingle verdict = failure.
3) imagine we have some very good players, win matches against strong sides, qualify for tournaments, go deep in one, the shingle verdict = failure.

So would the only time you'd you give a Wales manager credit be if we achieved things with a poor squad?

There are plenty of good managers who could do a good job for Wales, but in reality managing Wales does not interest them or they cost to much and they are wanted by more prestigious employers, so Wales have no option but to take on poor managers like Coleman and Giggs, who then when finished with the Welsh job are taken on by lower league clubs or go to remote clubs in other countries or basically anything they are offered because there is not much interest in them because they are poor managers, simple really isnt it, a good manager may have a chance without a few world class players in his squad in a hard qualifying group, Coleman and Giggs would have no chance what so ever.

Could any of those good managers you speak of 'who could do a good job with Wales' realistically do a better job as Wales manager than Coleman or Giggs?

I know the Blackburn game wasn't great viewing but you took time during that game to comment on this Ryan Giggs thread during it - so probably best not to go down that route!

Yea well i asked you a perfectly logical question that i sense that you don't want to answer because it destroys the premise of your point.

And just to correct yet another misquote of yours I've never said "They're great managers". What I've said is that both were great managers of Wales, and did a great job in that role alone.

But yes fine please do move on.

Have answered you countless time there poor managers imo and were lucky Bale and Ramsey did the business for them, without them Wales would not have qualified, now to help you understand this you need the Tin which explains these matters to simpletons who can not see the bigger picture,
PS hilarious to see the do not feed the troll sign in your comment, seems you have just shot your self in the foot big time.

You put up a do not feed the Troll, that proves what a silly billy you are, you also mention nothing about the Tin i asked you to check out because you know that would prove your points to be as silly as you, you really do seem seem like a guy in turmoil here, and to end it all you think Coleman and Giggs are great Welsh managers when the reality is Bale and Ramsey are the reasons for Wales qualifying, without them most would agree we would not have qualified]

A manager can't do a good job if he's got good players to choose. I get it now

Firstly no need to bow to me, and it`s good to see your getting it, all down to Bale and Ramsey but i will give you something Coleman and Giggs did pick them, but saying that most managers would have and still no mention from you about the tin i get the feeling that has gone straight over your head, you simply have no idea what it means.

Correct i have no idea of the relevance of a 'Tin'.
I thought it was some sort of typing error. But you actually meant to type the word 'Tin'?

The relevance of a tin is your answer you need to put up another do not feed the troll emoji. i am off for a run with the lads before you have a break down but do not worry i will be back tomorrow, you meanwhile need to try and get off here and get yourself some sleep.

Probably for the best.

Maybe you'll make more sense tomorrow, although all this cryptic stuff seems like a diversion from your spurious point to me.

The only manager to win anytthing wth a bad team in tournaments is Otto Rheianagl with the Greeks in 2006. They had some goodish players but no stars.

I cannot name one of them. Mind you cheeky chappie Ian Wright could not name any of them at the time despite working for the BBC and have them written down in frontof him. . Two sylabils is is tops for him. Money for old rope.
