Sad news today of the passing of Tony Jenkins, once owner of Diffrent Records, and massive swans fan. We will update you later. However, he only had one love really, the swans. I knew Tony since around 1992, had some great laughs, he lived in Uxbridge, London but had strong Llandeilo links, his father was from there. Spoke to him a few months back, then left a few messages but thought nothing of it when he didn’t reply. He had loads of plans still, hated the authority of the club, and that included Jenkins and all.
Seriously supported the England Swans supporters clubs, GITS, MAGS etc.
Tried to get his mate Bo Eklund involved in buying the club but he didn’t trust Tony Petty to do the right thing without ‘ persuasion’ ( that’s a fact ) I will write a more telling and informative obituary in time.
What a soldier, totally gutted.
