Christ we should have chucked that invoice back in his face if he was the one who advocated appointing Bradley.

Yes who knows, he's certainly received money off the club in the past for services rendered. I merely was curious as to whether he was receiving money from the club?

Yes Silverstein is on the board. But like some of the other board members has no shareholding.

There may be a pooled recruitment service for the three clubs. This would share the cost of international scouting. Take south America and Mexico for example. This makes sense to me. Synergies. Like I say Ashley Williams was touted for DC United when they were looking for an experience CB who could pass. Both DC and Swansea were interested in Kelman. Scott would have identified him and share intelliegence.

This is why I was disappointed not to see Arriola given a chance and the short shrift the US scouting guru was given a few years back. Scott may be more open to technology than Jenkins"s team. Having seen both the Czechs and Mexico give Wales a total passing master class it is easy to see why the UK football is seen as backward. Every single Czech player woud improve Swansea s passing.

Cooper has come up short in the accurate passing stakes. The Welsh lady pundit on S4C said in Welsh there is no point playing a false 9 with 25% possession.

Wales were unable to pass accurately out of defence even against the high press of 10 men.

Well i hope we aren't paying for scouting South America / Mexico for other clubs. We haven't signed a single player from those markets so it's not bearing fruit. Might make sense for the other clubs, but not us.

Neither of those transfers you speak didn't actually happen mind. And i rather Scott kept potential targets for ourselves personally.

That last paragraph is difficult to wade through. Wasn't that Altman guru a moneyball type guy? So isn't it likely he was more interested in technology? Are you criticising Scott for not finding passing players? But then saying its a nationwide issue?

I would define odd as being anyone supporting the current regime who have not a pot to pyss in and never will.
We are desperate for new owners with some clout.
We are being run like Arkwright's corner shop

Translation :

"I hate it when people run the club sensibly and sustainably. I demand owners who will spend like drunken sailors on shore leave then f*ck off leaving the club holding the bill".

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Recruitment under Jenkins was overall not up to scratch and he was loyal to his scouting group. The US people brought in the US 'guru' to help but by his own account his services were not used. HJ s scouting team were sacked and HJ resigned some months after. The Potter recruitment team would only make sense if Potter was in post for the long term. He left early. Potters signing were terrible. The "non negiotible four" have all left.

Scott was brought in and is using modern technology to help the club. He is a 'club man' and not aligned to Cooper. This means when Cooper leaves he will not leave with him. Swansea always signed players that can pass and move. Leon Brittion would have made that clear when Scott was appointed. It is a shame he left.

Synergies help to reduce costs and can help by sharing information. Clearly there will be players in USA Mexico and South America desperate for a chance to play in Europe. Norwich are in this markets and it shows. Beundia is south American but picked up from Spain.

Swansea will succeed by being ahead of the game. A shared European and American scouting group could deliver some great young players. Personally I would love to see Cullen Rushesha, Garrick and Ollie Cooper do some time on loan in DC or Houston. Great for the player great for Swansea and great for DC and Houston.

Barnsley are flying onthe back of the january signing of Dikes from the USA with the links thier management group have.

I don't disagree, you make the most of what's at your disposal, especially clubs like us who don't spend a lot.

However the only real benefit of the obvious link we have with America so far is Morris who looked decent.

Don't see how Donovan is related though.

I cant say how you can say Scott wouldnt leave with Cooper...Pascoe was a "club" man , he and Curt were said by HJ to be the continuity factor as managers change....but when Brendan upped sticks to Liverpool Pascoe went with him...if the offer is right who is to say Scott wouldnt go with Cooper say if a PL team came calling

Poll: Should Coleman ask Curt for advice/help?

The club needs an independant recruitment team one that is not in partnership with the manager. Scott said himself h inherited a shambles and it takes two or three seasons to build up a credible recruitment structure.

On average Swansea managers last between 1 and 2 seasons. 3 is exceptional. Potter's man was Potter's man not a club man. Scott seems like a club man not part of the Cooper package. He could be prevented by way of his contract not to leave the club when Cooper leaves.

Swansea have been through this before. Ledbeater ran the recuitment team under Jenkins and Laudrup wanted to use his own man the Turkish fellow. Swansea were happy to run a twin side by side approach but Laudrup wanted full control as I undrstood it.

I like to think the Club's recritment team is now top quality according to its budget and all sofeware packages and data is held by the club and not a transient employee that can up sticks with the company laptop. Birch knew what he was doing. I would liketo see a replacement for Leon Britton as chairmans advisor. Wayne Routledge perhaps who should also dohis badges and help out training the kids to avoid boredom that might have led to Leon's departure.

I don't think I've seen him listed amongst the various and numerous shareholders. Although random ones do pop out of the woodwork occasionally so its entirely possible he is one.

But I'm sure he had a job at the club so was taking a wage. Ambassador or something like that.

The text under the bbc interview suggests he is still a part owner.
