Swansea City Centre quickly turning in to an area of charity shops, cafes, bookies and low cost cloth shops and only time before the knock on effect closes a lot of these places also , all in all an area for the less fortunate in society to waste their empty days.

Will be a huge boost when the new arena and new city park opens in August this year. Plus two large car parks and new housing. Plus most of the new student accommodation in high Street and at the docks entrance will soon be finished. The new not for profit hospital is already open and Swansea West pier repairs will be finished as well. Plenty of new business opportunities for the astute entrepreneurs.

Carmarthen store closed Sunday, by the end there were only 20 working in a shop that once employed several hundred, very sad. A lady that I spoke to said quite a few had bailed out to work in other shops, but she was going to stay on to the end and then take the summer off and enjoy her garden. Let’s hope she has good weather because all in all it’s been a pretty dire 12 months.

Yes, a decent one.
The local store to us had up to 80% off and there was a lot of 2 for the price of 1 on top of the discount, but you’ll need to get there well before the end otherwise there’ll be nothing left. Er indoors bought jeans, normally they are £75 but she paid £12 and she also got a second pair free which she then sold on eBay and recouped her spend.
