| Jamal Lowe on 08:31 - May 19 by 34dfgdf54 | I have very little faith in my statements? I, along with many others, have complete faith in our opinions of the squad being out on it's feet. Our best player said so, the performances said so, watch the games and try not to get too engrossed in heatmaps etc. What do you think about 433 these days Doc? [Post edited 19 May 2021 8:35]

Complete faith yet you backtracked immediately? When we lose you say we are out on our feet, when we win you say we are fine. You don’t understand your own point, let alone have faith in it.

It's obvious fatigue played a massive part in our form, it couldn't be no clearer. Like when we lost to Preston, you questioned why we should stick with 433, still feel the same doc?

If it “couldn’t be no clearer”, you do realise that means it could.. don’t you? However assuming you meant it couldn’t be clearer, of course it could. Hence why you have no idea and guess based on results. I am always asking questions and posing scenarios, a question doesn’t mean we should and it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t. Hence the question mark. I have faith in Coops he will pick the correct formation needed to get the job done, he has certainly earned that trust.

You're always asking and posting scenarios yes. More than often they are spectacularly wrong. Good on you. We both made a mistake of jumping to conclusions after one loss by the looks of it....

How can a question be wrong? What you do is completely not understand what you are reading or selectively change it so you can get your kicks by saying “wrong” to someone on the internet. The only person you are convincing is yourself, and that’s questionable.

Some people will never accept something that most seem to see very clearly. We had the international break, we put in a bad performance but the energy was better. If we had still been tired on Monday, Barnsley would have murdered us, we'd never have matched their drive, the quick, high press. Now we have 5 days to recover and I expect us to do even better in the second leg. At home with even a few thousand fans behind us, I expect us to push them back.

Every team is tired at times, given a 4 day rest the body recovers, in most cases 4 days is maximum. Some matches would have had a slight dip due to fatigue, as is the case for most teams in the league. However those games that have come within that 4 day “fatigue timeframe” we have performed very well. Ironically we tend to do the worst when we rotate heavily. Some people were pointing to fatigue in January as a reason why we were performing badly in March, even though the required rest was achieved in that time frame. it’s scientifically flawed. Some people use notions they don’t understand in order to push a certain narrative, others use reality. It’s that simple.

| Jamal Lowe on 07:52 - May 19 by Dr_Parnassus | Which part is stupid specifically? I didn’t give an opinion, I stated a fact. You claimed the players were ran into the ground and the International break was going to make them magically better. First game back and you walked back that statement saying you didn’t realise how bad it was, got it wrong and they are still knackered. Which points have been blown out of the water exactly? You tend you use that phrase when they clearly haven’t and you have no idea how to. I said I was tired last week, the next day I wasn’t tired anymore. Tiredness is not a terminal condition, you just use it whenever we lose because you have the inability to think critically, take that from an amateur tennis player. |
This guy is comical Hopeless village idiot. Fatigue in the reactions and mind, fatigue in the muscles, little niggles. All MASSIVE in football. The Industry

Not being funny but he ruins every thread he participates in by luring people into debates then never letting them go. I have a drive round the forum, read some threads then have to scroll and scroll through reams of nonsense that he's posted.

A niggle is an injury not fatigue. Fatigue has been extensively scientifically studied and is acted upon in all professional sports. You can disagree if you like to get your online kicks, but I can’t help you any further than educating you with the facts.

On that basis, in the theoretical situation that a season began the week after the previous one ended, players could play every week from the start to the end of their careers, without any fatigue during matches.

https://www.walesonline.co.uk/ Football is full of players who have been over played and their performances dip as a result. For example, you extensively studied our play off route using algorithms, maths etc, made a three page match preview of "so.... it's Bournemouth" for it then to be Barnsley.

Yes, that’s exactly my point. Again, I’m not denying the existence of fatigue, quite the opposite. It’s odd that you infer that is my point? I am telling you quite factually that fatigue is not terminal, once you achieve the required amount of rest... you are no longer fatigued. I’m sure Ayew was tired after the game when he stated it. Irrespective of how many failed and flawed lines from your mate your regurgitate, this will still be the case. The sooner you accept that the better for you. I’m pretty relentless when it comes to combating nonsense.
