New investment from the USA apparently. Some said it would never happen. Another Convertible Loan Note keeping the club going?

Not sure how you come to that conclusion. I have an excellent track record of reliability over a very successful of over 30 year career, One or two hairy moment along the way.

This forum is full of people that comment negatively on "Yanks" and "sellouts". Today we hear of likely extra cash from the USA (Winter calls an investment) , and possible sponsorship of the stadium with links to a so called "sellout". They were the shirt sponsor at one time.

If the loan(s) are converted they will not add to the clubs debt. I expect this to happen.

Kindly no. I take on unpopular causes that are not fashionable like supporting the US owners who are putting their own money into the club and the sellers who did so much for the club.

Getting stick off nobodies who dish out abuse but cannot think for themselves is part of the gig.

And we also sold Rodon for a lesser price to apparently get our hands on ready cash.....

This is never going to end. There'll always be some excuse as to why were skint, why we don't spend much, why we need loans, why we need sell and undersell. It's depressing.

What do you think the answer is? Maybe ALL our season tickets should cost £3000. That'd pay for something, as long as we sold at least 14k.

Football is in a mess. If every club lived within their means then players would HAVE to accept realisitc wages. That there is a stark staring truth, as long as the gap to thepremier league is so big financially, as long as average players can demand and get 40k per week then promoted clubs will go beyond their means and incur massive debts and the knock on effect goes into the rest of football.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

I'm pretty sure dumping more debt onto the club isn't the answer though?

Realistically we aren't going to sign the type of player that's going to get us challenging at the top (the big 4 are streets ahead) this season, so why do we need extra loans. What's the point? Surely better to persist this season with the young team we have and spending within our means/loans in the new progressive system Martin is bringing? And hopefully next season will look a brighter prospect???

Winter can call it whatever he wants, but currently it doesn't actually exist and if it does, it's probably going to be a loan with interest.

Why do you expect them to be converted? Based on what? It would probably be bad business for them to convert them. At least as loans their money can't depreciate, which it can if they bought shares with it. Why haven't they converted the loans yet then? It's been months now.
