Not in Sheffield United plans.

He’s on very decent money, not sure 14 - 15k a week is worth it for a loan.

Agree unless Sheffield Utd agree to part subsidise it.

Might replace Bidwell if he goes otherwise an unnecessary addition.

Lowe in Bidwell to Boro is the talk

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

Another 3 years left on his deal worth £2.34m. Their only way of getting off the hook is him playing brilliantly for Swansea or another team and getting him sold to a Premier league team.

Why would we sell Bidwell and then get someone else in on the same wages though?

Because IMO RM does not think Bidwell is up to doing the job he wants. On Tuesday Bidwell was really blowing and ran out of steam in the second half. If he wants a full back or left of a three fine but the stamina RM wants, Bidwell does not have.

Although Manning had a great game, before it, I’d have thought he was more suited to the role Bidwell played and vice versa.

You are probably right. But if Manning plays another game in the back three, like he did on Saturday, he will not be moving from there.

It's a shame, as I like Bidwell.

Maybe get this Lowe in for the season and hope he can help get us promoted. Unlikely as that may seem right now.
If promotion doesn't come off, at least we have a season to identify the correct permanent signing in that position.

Swansea would not entertain those wages. Half of it at best. Sheffield Utd owe Lowe £2.5m for the next 3 seasons in wages but do not want the player and are not prepared to work with him. Its a £2.5m liability.

If they can loan him out for three seasons at half their wages they save £1.25m. They hope he will find his mojo at Swansea and gt that £1.25m back plus the transfer fee reported as £3m some how.

Similar to Asoro and Swansea. Loan him out get some of his wages paid for two season then write off the transfer fee and come to some sort of deal to get him off the books.

Lowe’s pace is exceptional, I’m baffled as to why he isn’t in the Sheff Utd squad. Very similar to Laird.
