waiting 4 years just to see the consultant and then 3 years later deciding to pay for it rather than wait even longer.
This is what Drakeford and Gething did to our NHS and now Drakeford has promoted gething and put Morgan in to deal with a horrendous mess. That was Drakeford and Gethings reward for being totally useless, they got promoted. I feel sorry for Eluned Morgan, she has no hope of sorting it out as long as we have Drakers and Gething above her.

It’s dreadful and not acceptable.
The ambulance service have a system for triaging calls, they prioritise those cases where people have left threatening emergencies such as cardiac arrests where the patient has stopped breathing, if the patient is breathing and conscious the response varies depending on the severity. Where they have first responders they will deploy them, I am also aware of occasions when the police and hire service have attended ambiance calls. I have experience of being on the wrong side of that prioritisation process.
The issue isn’t just Wales, the army have been deployed in Scotland and parts of England to support the ambulance service. Here’s another shocking example of where things are going wrong, this time it’s in England. It’s a huge issue across the health service.

I'd give people this advice what I did I rang my local waiting list number for my cataract removel and hernia repair I told them the truth I was blind in my right eye and when I rang about my hernia repair I told them it was affecting my ability to work had letters within days to go in its worth s phone call
If that fails contact your local AM they'll be happy to help I'm sure

You don't have to believe Johnson (who would) but you can google it and get the info straight from English NHS trusts.
The Welsh NHS is saying it's a 3 year wait for a hip replacement right now.
The English NHS, when I was first diagnosed, had an 18 week maximum wait time. They haven't met that in 5 years but at the time the Welsh NHS waiting time was 12 months. They've not been meeting that either and when someone is happy they only waited 18 months, you know something is wrong. | |
